Take a cable car in the Hakkōda Mountains to enjoy the stunning scenery. In fall, the maple leaves on the mountain dye the entire range golden, red, and orange, like a magnificent painting by nature. The winter tree ice spectacle is an even more unique natural wonder, with hundreds of trees covered in snow and ice, transforming into strangely shaped monsters.
