Meeting of Waters lies 10 kilometers downstream from Manaus, where the dark waters of the Rio Negro meet the pale, yellowish Solimões River; only after merging do they officially form the main stem of the Amazon River. San Sebastian Church is a small church built in 1888, located in San Sebastian Square. It is small but beautiful and well-preserved.
