U.S. Route 66, also known as the Will Rogers Highway or Main Street of America, was one of the original highways in the U.S. Highway System, established in 1926. The highway stretches from Chicago to Santa Monica State Beach in Los Angeles, crossing eight states: Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California, covering a total length of approximately 2,400 miles. With the development of the Interstate Highway System, the road was officially decommissioned in 1985, and some sections have since been designated as National Scenic Byways. The scenery along the route is a defining feature of this highway. From the farmlands of Illinois to the hills of Missouri, from the plains of Oklahoma to the red deserts of Arizona, and finally to the Pacific coast of California, the road connects a multitude of small towns, motels, neon signs, and roadside diners that retain their mid-20th-century appearance. Many sections still feature original gas stations and unique shops. U.S. Route 66 has had a profound influence on American pop culture. John Steinbeck used the road as the backdrop for the westward migration in The Grapes of Wrath, earning it the nickname "The Mother Road." The Pixar animated film Cars also uses this highway as its setting.Custer County · 27.4 km from downtown

The track of the roller coaster shuttles inside and outside the building, and the yellow taxi-style roller coaster carriages feel as if they are traveling throughout Manhattan. Whenever you enter or leave the hotel, you can hear people's screams, which is quite exciting. It is worth mentioning that taking this roller coaster is like taking a shuttle bus to New York, shuttling between the major attractions in New York, because the New York hotel is famous for being reduced by the famous buildings in New York.Las Vegas · 8.1 km from downtown

The Fountains of Bellagio use a vast artificial lake as their performance stage, cleverly combining music, lighting, and changing water jets to create a striking highlight of Las Vegas nightlife. Whether day or night, this place attracts large numbers of tourists to stop and watch. Especially when night falls and the hotel lights turn on, the fountains dance gracefully to the music, and the entire lake seems to transform into an open-air theater, offering a magnificent and stunning audiovisual experience. The fountain's performance area is an artificial lake covering over 8 acres. The lake is vast and open, with over 1,000 nozzles installed on the lakebed and underwater, all controlled by a computer program. During the performance, the water jets constantly change height, angle, and movement in rhythm with the music, sometimes light and graceful, sometimes suddenly soaring into the air, creating a layered water curtain with varying heights.Las Vegas · 7.1 km from downtown

Seven Magic Mountains is located in the Mojave Desert south of Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, and is a large-scale outdoor public art installation created by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone. Set against the backdrop of the vast, open desert, this attraction integrates vibrant art into the natural landscape, creating a unique and stunning visual experience. The core of the site consists of seven colorful stone towers, each made of three to six massive limestone boulders stacked vertically, with an overall height of approx. 10m, equivalent to a three-story building. The surfaces of the boulders are painted in bright fluorescent colors such as pink, orange, yellow, green, and blue, creating a sharp contrast with the surrounding earthy-yellow desert, exposed mountains, and vast sky. Standing among the stone towers, visitors can observe the boulders' rugged textures, vibrant coatings, and stacked structures up close, feeling the unique charm brought about by the collision of artistic creation and the natural environment.Clark County · 31.1 km from downtown

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Areais a protected area known for its magnificent geological views and unique desert ecosystem. Towering red sandstone cliffs, vast desert landscapes, and a long geological history define this land, attracting countless tourists, photography enthusiasts, hikers, and rock climbers to explore it each year. Due to tectonic plate movement and constant changes in the Earth's crust, powerful compressive forces pushed these ancient rock layers over younger red sandstone, creating a unique geological structure. Because of the unique arrangement of the rock layers, a marvelous scene has emerged where red sandstone and grayish-white limestone are intermingled, with older and younger rock layers inverted. Upon entering the conservation area, a one-way scenic loop road runs through the entire park, allowing visitors to enjoy the rich and diverse natural scenery along the way. The mountains on both sides of the road are bare and majestic, with rocks that have been shaped into various peculiar forms by thousands, or even millions, of years of wind and water erosion.Clark County · 33.4 km from downtown

I watched the most expensive movie of my life, experiencing naked-eye 4D, a seamless 16K giant screen, and 360-degree surround sound in a $2.3 billion giant sphere. It was incredibly immersive. The only minor drawback was the lack of subtitles. (75 minutes of English listening practice included.)

Great experience and so worth the money! We managed 4 drinks and the view was amazing, so worth to pay the extra for the bar package. Would recommend as we had so much fun and met great people in this 1/2 hour.

Overall, I liked the ride! It was my first time doing something like it. My only complaint is that I didn’t get the fully immersive feeling as if I was actually in the scenes because I could see where the screens ended at the top of the ceiling. I believe my experience would’ve been much better if that wasn’t visible and that I could only see the screen. Looking down, it’s all screen and there were parts that felt very realistic, which was cool. I’d do it again

Route 66 is an old, worn-out asphalt road, cracked in some sections with weeds sprouting from the gaps. Occasionally, an abandoned gas station stands by the roadside, its sign rusted but still standing, its pump covered in dust. Driving into a small town, the neon lights outside old restaurants don't work during the day, and old photos and broken guitars are displayed in the windows. Next to it, an old Chevrolet, rusted to its frame, sits there like a sculpture. There's hardly anyone around; the wind whistles through the road signs, creating a desolate atmosphere.

One of the landmarks of Las Vegas, you can almost pass by this sign on the way to downtown Las Vegas. Many tourists line up to take photos here. The colorful Las Vegas sign is as warm and enthusiastic as the city of Las Vegas. The blue sky and white clouds, the green trees in the desert, make the Las Vegas sign more vibrant.
