It is the first phase of the "Hainan Yongqing Cultural Tourism Scenic Spot" that has been completed. It covers an area of 80 acres and is a large-scale Buddhist temple in Qiongbei. Historically, Yongqing Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty and was one of the "Eight Sceneries of Chengmai" in ancient Hainan. According to historical records, there were Li Gang, Li Guang, Hu Quan, Su Dongpo and many other worthy officials and scholars who visited the temple, making it famous all over the place, and the sound of Dharma was spread all over Qiongzhou. Yongqing Temple was dedicated to Sakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Island Guanyin, Manjushri and other 42 bodhisattvas, all of which are carved from a single piece of Burmese white jade, have high artistic and cultural value, and have been highly praised by all sectors of society. Yongqing Temple was rebuilt by the sea, with blue sea and blue sky and pleasant scenery; the environment is quiet and the air is fresh. The five trees associated with Buddhism (Bodhi, Baye palm, sugar palm, Daqing, and betel nut), six flowers (frangipani, Manjusri, lotus, Huangmiangui, turmeric flower and Diyong Jinlian) and other plants are planted in the monastery , to highlight the grandeur, solemnity and tranquility of the green and Buddhist world, and achieve the realm of returning to simplicity and truth, and the unity of heaven, earth, man and Buddha. We brought the kids to see the flamingos 🦩 and squirrels 🐿, and they had a great time. However, the park is quite small and not worth a special trip. It's okay to stop by if you're passing through, since you can interact with the flamingos 🦩, which the kids really enjoyed.

The best scenic spot in Chengmai County, where the Buddhist holy land meets the coconut beach, is a different experience. There is also a free library in the temple, where you can cultivate your sentiments while watching the sea. The most important thing is that it is free throughout the whole process, without any charge items. It is very cost-effective.

It is rare to find such a historic site in Hainan Island. The tower from the Yuan Dynasty is still well preserved and you can touch it yourself. It is a free attraction, free parking, and the road to the attraction has been repaved, which is quite convenient.

This attraction isn't overly commercialized. During the off-season, it's a great place to hike and take a walk. There are so many large butterflies, and you can even see geckos crawling on the walls. If you get tired or thirsty, you can buy an iced coconut to drink and rest. It's a great way to connect with nature. It's quite nice!

The volcanic rocks are quite unique, but the scenery is very ordinary on a cloudy day, and it is a bit out of the way, so it is not worth going. It is not worth going if you are not interested in geology.

Jinshan Temple is located in Chengmai County and was first built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. Jinshan Temple is located at the foot of a small mountain. Going up the mountain to enter the mountain gate, behind the temple is Jinshan Cultural Park, where the 13-story Wanfu Changshou Medicine Buddha Pagoda is built. The pagoda is free to visit from 8 am to 5:30 pm, and you can overlook the streets of Chengmai County from the tower. Chengmai is a town of longevity, and the Changshou Medicine Buddha Pagoda is very consistent with the cultural genes of Chengmai.
