·Admire the ornate and imaginative architectural design of the Palace of Versailles ·Step into one of Europe's beautiful palace gardens and encounter forests, flower-lined paths, greenhouses, colonnades, temples, a village, and numerous marble statues scattered throughout ·Don't miss the Hall of Abundance, the Hall of Mars, the Hall of Peace, the Chapel, the Theater, and the King's and Queen's State Apartments. The Palace of Versailles was built during the reign of Louis XIV of France (1643-1715) and consists of the main palace castle, the gardens, the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon, and the Queen's Hamlet of Marie Antoinette. On the first floor of the Palace of Versailles, there are the suites of the Dauphin and princesses, the chapel, and the palace history gallery. Its main views are concentrated on the second floor of the main building and in the gardens. Grand Trianon: Although it is much plainer than the main palace castle, it is the most elegant and refined of all the buildings in the Palace of Versailles. This palace, which is heavily influenced by Italian architectural styles, has only one floor. It is situated between courtyards and gardens, and is covered with a flat roof surrounded by a balustrade. Petit Trianon: This is a typical classical-style building, featuring a studio, bedroom, dressing room, and more. The Queen's Grove: The layout here reveals the Queen's wide-ranging interests and elegant taste, far from the extravagance of Versailles and not without traces of Enlightenment thought. △ The garden is bisected by a central east-west axis, with flowerbeds, tree-lined avenues, pools, and several fountains arranged on either side. Among them, the Latona Fountain and the Apollo Fountain lie on the central axis, featuring exquisite sculptures. △ The palace was decorated magnificently, with colorful marble walls dazzling to the eye and giant crystal chandeliers cascading down like waterfalls. △ The inner walls and dome are covered with murals, and the mythological stories depicted are so vivid that they seem to recount the glorious military achievements of the kings of the past.

Mont Saint-Michel

Mont Saint-Michel is a small granite island in the bay at the border of Normandy and Brittany, France, and a sacred site in the hearts of Catholics. According to legend, in 708 AD, Aubert, the bishop of Avranches, received three revelations from the archangel Michael in his dreams, instructing him to build a sanctuary for the angel on the rocky outcrop then known as "Tomb Mountain." Both the mountain's name and the abbey atop it originate from this story. Today, the abbey complex at the summit, constructed and expanded from the 11th century onward, features Romanesque naves and Gothic spires layered one upon another. The golden statue of the archangel atop the spire, sword raised toward the sky, is a distinctive landmark visible from afar when gazing upon the holy mountain. Tides are the core attraction here. The bay's tidal range can reach over ten m, with the sea retreating up to over ten km during low tide, exposing vast mudflats. During high tide, the sea rapidly closes in, described by Victor Hugo as advancing "like galloping horses." On days with exceptionally high tides, the entire island is encircled by seawater, recreating the true spectacle of an isolated island at sea. Tidal times change daily, so check the tide chart before your visit. Witnessing the starkly different scenes of mudflats and ocean during both high and low tides is a must. Ascending along the main street, you'll find shops and restaurants with medieval charm on both sides. The stone houses and alleys exude an antique atmosphere, and the ancient city wall trail around the island is also worth exploring. The high-vaulted nave, Gothic cloisters, and tranquil gardens of the hilltop monastery deserve careful appreciation, while the platform offers a panoramic view of the bay's tidal flats and winding streets. The island also features small museums showcasing the history of the sacred mountain, tides, and navigation, which can be visited if time permits. Note that the bay's tidal flats flood rapidly with quicksand, so avoid venturing onto them alone. Always follow a professional guide if you wish to cross the bay.

Loved this experience but there is so much to see so I would plan to spend at least 4 to 5 hours to see everything or longer but other than that it was perfect.

It was a great summit experience, and the accompanying Seine River cruise was also excellent. Our guide was Korean and spoke both English and French, so I had no problem communicating with her in French. There was also a very friendly elderly Australian couple in our group; they even gave me a small souvenir before I left.

Worth taking the ride specially during the evening when Eiffel is about to light up. Glad to see Eiffel Tower lighting and sparkling too. Got the scenic view of Notre-Dame Cathedral, Louvre Museum and Musée d'Orsay also.

The food was mediocre and not worth the price, but the scenery was nice; we saw the entire Seine River in two hours. The service was poor; the set meal included a bottle of wine, and after I finished the first glass the waiter poured for me, it took 20 minutes for them to refill it.

It's truly a magical place, with incredibly changeable weather; one minute it's raging winds, and the next it's sunny and warm. Many people take a day trip, but I think staying overnight is better, so you can see Mont Saint-Michel in the early morning when it's less crowded.

What an amazing experience! A must-do when visiting Paris, definitely on my bucket list! I booked the 8:30 PM departure and saw both the sunset and the night view. The ship moved very slowly. Dinner was Michelin-starred and included plenty of wine – excellent value!
