Prince Edward Island National Park is located on the north shore of Prince Edward Island, facing the Gulf of St. Lawrence, with a coastline stretching for dozens of km. Crashing waves, rolling sand dunes, sandstone cliffs, and white sand beaches alternate throughout the park, showcasing the coastal views. Due to the high iron oxide content in the soil, the ground has a unique reddish-brown color, creating a sharp contrast with the white sand beaches and blue seawater. The park is an important bird sanctuary where you can observe rare birds such as the endangered piping plover. The park offers a variety of outdoor experiences. Visitors can cycle along the coastline, and hiking enthusiasts can explore trails that traverse sand dunes and numerous paths.Queens County · 21.3 km from Charlottetown

The Provincial Assembly Hall is the most striking building in Charlottetown. The neoclassical style building is magnificent and the symmetrical structure is cleverly designed. In 1864, in the Union Conference Room here, 23 representatives of the British North American colonies discussed the formation of the Canadian Confederation, so in many people's minds, this is also the "birthplace of Canada". If you visit in July or August, you may encounter actors in costumes walking around the hall, and there is a film called "Great Dream" (Great Dream) for visitors to learn about the landmark event.
