Gold Coast Scenic Area

Gold Coast Scenic Area is located on the shores of the Bohai Sea. The coastline, stretching for tens of km, is known for its fine sand, soft beach, clear water, and gentle tides. The golden, fine sand glitters in the sunlight, which is how the scenic area got its name. Unlike typical rocky coastlines, there are almost no rocks to be found here. Behind the beach lie rolling sand dunes, with sand hills reaching dozens of m in height. Further inland are stretches of coastal woodlands. Yellow sand, green forests, blue sea, and blue sky layer upon each other, blending the scenery of the sea and the desert into one. Sandboarding is a signature experience here. You can ride the sightseeing cable car to the top of the sand hills, overlooking the layers of sand hills and the coastline along the way. Then, sit on a bamboo sandboard and slide down from the high sand slope, gaining speed as you go. After reaching the bottom, you will continue to slide forward for a distance due to momentum. The gentle beach also makes it very safe to go into the water. You can walk far out into the sea, and the water is only waist-deep. Sunbathing, playing in the sand, or taking a walk in the woods to enjoy the sea breeze are all great options.Changli · 15.5 km from downtown

Jieshi Mountain is located in Changli County, Qinhuangdao, with an altitude of 695 meters. It is a famous mountain for a long time. For more than 2,000 years, emperors of seven generations, including Qin Huang, Han Wu, Tang Zong, and Wei Wu, have climbed mountains to watch the sea, carved stones to record their merits, and now there are some ancient buildings with a long history preserved on the mountain. The main peak of Jieshi Mountain is the top of Sendai, which is 695 meters above sea level. There is a famous temple "Shuiyan Temple" in the mountains. The two characters "Jieshi" carved by the ancients remain on the cliff. Climb to the top of Sendai (15 kilometers away from the sea), overlooking the sea, from the mouth of the Luanhe River to Qinhuangdao Port, from the mouth of the Luanhe River to the sea in the west, and to the Qinhuangdao Port of Shanhaiguan in the east. The sea is boundless, and the sky and the sea are one. The predecessors listed the ten scenic spots of Jieshi Mountain, among which "Jieshi Viewing the Sea" is more spectacular. The other nine are Tianzhu Lingyun, Shuiyan Chunxiao, Shidong Autumn Breeze, West Peak Paiqing, East Peak Towering Green, Longpan Linggu, Fengzhu Xiangluan, Xiahui Zudu, Xianying Canglang. Because the main peak is steep and close to the sea, its location is important. In ancient times, it was included in the famous geographical works "Shan Hai Jing" and "Shangshu·Yugong". Jieshi Mountain is a famous ancient mountain. Although it is outside the Five Mountains, it has the reputation of "Sacred Mountain". Jieshi Mountain has five peaks in the east and west. Dongwufeng Mountain is located on the east side of Sendai Peak. From east to west, the five peaks are Wanghai, Jinxiu, Pingdou, Feilai and Hangyue. West Wufeng Mountain is west of the top of Sendai, and there is a "Han Wen Gong Temple" on the southern mountainside platform to commemorate Han Yu, a writer of the Tang Dynasty. His ancestral home was Changli, Hebei. After his death, he was posthumously named Changlibo, so he was also called Han Changli. From 1908 to 1924, he took refuge in the Han Wen Gong Temple 7 times, and wrote a book about it. He described Jieshi Mountain as "Tianwai Taoyuan" in "Jieshishan Miscellaneous Notes". Now, this is a provincial-level patriotism education base. There is a 5-meter-high white marble statue of Li Dazhao on the Jieshi Ridge to the south of the Han Gong Temple.Changli · 3.6 km from downtown

If we're talking about the most famous attraction in Changli County, Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, it has to be the Aranya Community. Originally a real estate development project intended as a community, it has now transformed into a popular tourist destination. This is because the unique atmosphere created by the cultural heritage and neighborly relations within the Aranya Community makes both residents and visitors feel comfortable. Due to the success of the Aranya project, it's now undoubtedly Changli's must-visit spot for social media check-ins, and it's definitely worth a visit.

Our day trip to the fishing island was a complete success! Even without visiting the water park, it was still a fulfilling and enjoyable experience! The ace motorcycle stunt show was breathtaking, with drifting and live-action explosions creating a truly immersive atmosphere. The petting zoo's "Little Pig Run" was hilarious, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. The park also includes sandboarding, grass skiing, and a Ferris wheel, offering stunning views of the golden beach and the sea. The park is large, with a mini-train for transportation. Enjoy the sea breeze and sunset on the beach, and there's a spectacular light show in the evening. With its diverse attractions and well-organized shows, it's perfect for a full day of family fun and highly recommended.

The beach is so-so, not suitable for barefoot walking. I don't know if it's because it's not the right time yet or if they'll clean it up in July or August. If it stays like this, you can't walk barefoot because everything is rough and prickly. The nearby food stalls weren't open yet. There are quite a few shops in front, and a plaza. It was quite crowded in May. It would be even more crowded in summer. Maybe I went at the wrong time. There's a clock tower that's good for taking pictures.

Rushihai Resort is incredibly popular! Overall, it's perfect for weekend getaways for couples, friends, and families! The environment is better than Aka, and less crowded and quieter than Aranya! I stayed indoors most of the past two days, only going out at night, and the sea breeze was absolutely fantastic.

Soaking in the hot spring warmed me to my very core. This trip to Yudao Island was definitely worthwhile; it was incredibly good value for money. A huge thank you to Ms. Kang Defeng and Ms. Li Chunling for their warm hospitality; the experience was fantastic. I'll definitely come back next time.

Nanyu is very suitable for big babies to play. They are tall enough to play many games, and small babies can play some non-powered games and watch performances. The beach is by the sea, and the cableway on the right hand side of the entrance is great. The scenery is great and cool. Except for the queue, it is good. There are restaurants on the beach, which is convenient for eating. There are even Shanghai aunties, and the taste is not bad. The only complaint is that after playing on the beach, you can take a shower. 20 yuan per time is fine, but there is no parent-child room. The father is not here, and the mother can't take the boy to take a bath. He can't change clothes because he is covered in sand. I hope there will be improvements!

The most popular attraction on Xianluo Island in Nandaihe is its kilometer-long cross-sea cableway. Suspended above the Bohai Sea, with a refreshing sea breeze, it offers a truly immersive experience and is perfect for taking photos. The island itself is small, featuring a sightseeing tower and a statue of the Conch Fairy. However, its shortcomings are quite apparent: long queues for the cableway during holidays, limited recreational activities, and a somewhat artificial feel. It's recommended to visit during off-peak hours and take the cableway in the evening to watch the sunset for a better experience.

It's worth the trip, though it's a bit steep and hot. Bring plenty of water, as there are a lot of mosquitoes, so bring mosquito repellent, hiking poles, and a sun hat. Facing Jieshi to the east, you can see the vast ocean. It's been a long-cherished dream, and it's finally come true.

Overall, Nanyu Entertainment was alright, considering I've been there many times. The recent change is that the cable car now costs extra, but the price is still acceptable. Family tickets are very affordable, but there are some activities that require additional payment. This was my fourth visit. The only bad experience was a cake giveaway. When it was our turn in line, there were only six or seven pieces left. One person was very rude and aggressive, saying not to give any more and to save them for the live stream staff. I believe most people here aren't short of a few pieces, and saving them for the live stream staff is barely acceptable, but the staff member's attitude was terrible. Why not just say it politely? Their attitude was awful, and the children were unhappy all day. Although it was an issue with one staff member, it greatly affected the overall experience. Or they could have distributed the cakes beforehand instead of leaving the children with hope, which was very disappointing! The performances and other staff members were all very nice. One bad apple spoiled the whole bunch.
