Things to do in Castle Rock

The red rocks where amazing ! Awesome views just 30 minutes from Downtown Denver ! The natural Trail makings even better in the evenings during the summer.

The weather is very good and the whole botanical garden is quite beautiful. It is known as the Plateau City. The botanical garden is very large and you can see many different plants. It is also a very relaxing botanical garden.

Lots of great exhibits and the animals look well cared for. I would love for more non zoo attractions and services. More food stands for instance.

Only 16% of the mountain was open, but it didn’t stop us from two extremely full days of enjoying new terrain. It was great not dealing with lines, crowds and the other inevitable parts of the busier parts of ski season. Will have to come back to hit the famous back bowls, but enjoyable nonetheless.

This amusement park is very large and has many rides, including roller coasters, bungee jumping, carousels, and performances. However, generally speaking, the food in scenic spots is more expensive, so you can also bring some snacks with you.
