Cameron Highlands is simple and quiet. In 1885, when an Englishman named William Cameron surveyed the terrain on the plateau, this mysterious and beautiful plateau was only known to the world, and it was hidden by mountains. It has since been named Cameron Highlands. Surrounded by drizzle and fog all year round, it was once turned into a summer resort by the British. There are farmhouses of residents hidden among the green mountains and green waters. The beautiful scenery and unique regional characteristics attract a large number of tourists to visit here.Tanah Rata · 259m from downtown

Did our 1st drive in our newly gotten car up towards Cameron highland. The drive from Singapore To KL took about 3hrs and to Cameron highland from KL is another 90mins. The drive up can be quite curvy so be careful. The air up in Cameron is crisp and fresh, cooling weather about 18-24 degree. Up here you can enter the tea plantation and also get souvenirs back home from the freshly plucked plantation. Crowds here can be huge especially on weekend, would definitely make a trip up again for sure due to the nice cooling weather and great scenery.

Don’t miss out an opportunity to appreciate nature while in Cameron Highlands. There are several choices to be at the peak but the most relaxing way is via jeep driven by an experienced driver. The view is breathtaking and the walkway is a bit slippery during rainy days. Just make sure to wear an appropriate shoes.

Although the name is the rose center, you have the opportunity to see not only the flower, but also hundreds of types of flowers and vegetables grown in flat and hilly areas. Depending on the season, you may be able to see various blooming flowers or wilting flowers that are overlooked because the area is 3 acres.

It was really quite an experience for someone who doesn’t like strawberries. You will probably be amazed by how big the farm is, and how many strawberries they are growing. We had fun picking the strawberries, although we don’t really know how to. But the staff there are really helpful during the process! 👍🏻PS: the strawberries are really sweet (as confirmed by the man) 😊
