Chateau Pommard is located in the famous Meusalut village of Pommard, Burgundy, France. It has the largest private vineyard in Burgundy today, with the entire vineyard covering an area of 40 acres. Since 1726, Chateau Pommard has been closely associated with the history of Burgundy. After more than three centuries of ups and downs, Chateau Pommard has long been known internationally for its fine wines, attracting an endless stream of visitors, becoming a testimony to the development and prosperity of the Burgundy wine industry. The gate of Chateau Pommard is a garden with a fountain, decorated with bushes and flower beds, very French. The interior of the entire winery is very antique, and you can see the luxury of the past. The Pommard Winery History Museum with a certain scale collects many historical relics during the development of Pommard wine, as well as the farming tools and winemaking tools used by grape farmers for centuries. The winery's kitchen is also very interesting, with a stone chimney and a pendulum-shaped barbecue grill from the 17th century. The doors of the winery can lead to the vineyard, and the 20-hectare Pinot Noir vineyard is very spectacular. The vineyard has fertile soil, mild weather, and the variety is mainly Pinot Noir. The underground wine cellar of the manor is very spectacular. In addition to the oak barrels, there are neatly stacked wine bottles in various lanes, and they are stacked according to the year. Arc de Triomphe de l'Etoile stands at the center of Place de l'Etoile at the western end of the Champs-Élysées in Paris. Commissioned by Napoleon to commemorate his victory at the Battle of Austerlitz, construction began in 1806 and was completed in 1836, with the monument reaching approx. 50 m in height. The inner walls of the arch are inscribed with the names of hundreds of generals who fought alongside Napoleon and the victorious battles they won. Beneath the arch lies the tomb of an unknown soldier, with an eternal flame that burns continuously, adding solemnity to this monument of triumph. The four pillars feature four large reliefs: "The Departure of the Volunteers" by sculptor François Rude, depicting the winged Goddess of Liberty rallying the people to arms—this work is also widely known as "La Marseillaise"; "The Triumph of 1810" shows Victory crowning Napoleon; "Resistance" and "Peace" respectively depict France's resilience during the 1814 war and its return to tranquility afterward. Ascending to the top is a must: the summit houses a small exhibition hall with images, models, and artifacts detailing the monument's construction. From the viewing platform, the star-shaped layout of twelve radiating avenues unfolds below, with the Champs-Élysées, the Eiffel Tower, and the La Défense skyscrapers visible in one frame. At night, the illuminated boulevard offers a classic vantage point for Parisian cityscapes. Note that the ground-level square is congested with traffic; visitors must use the underground passage to reach the arch. △Twelve grand avenues in Paris radiate from the center, showcasing magnificent momentum and serving as a design model for major European cities △Avenue des Champs-Élysées at nightfall, magnificent and grandFrance · Paris
Ile de la Cite

Ile de la Cite

210 reviews
Ile de la Cite is a natural island in the Seine River in Paris, and along with the adjacent Ile Saint-Louis to the east, it is one of only two natural islands in the Seine. This island is considered the birthplace of Paris—Gallic tribes settled here as early as the pre-Christian era, walls were built on the island during the Roman era, and King Clovis I of the Franks established a royal palace here in the early 6th century. For centuries thereafter, it remained the religious and political center of Paris. Today, strolling through the cobblestone streets of the island, you can still feel the layers of history. The island is home to several iconic medieval buildings. Notre-Dame Cathedral of Paris is located at the eastern end of the island and is a representative example of French Gothic architecture, famous for its facade carvings and rose windows. Sainte-Chapelle is renowned for its towering stained-glass windows, which fill the hall with colorful light when the sun shines through. La Conciergerie was originally part of the royal palace and was converted into a prison during the French Revolution; today, it preserves its spectacular Gothic vaulted halls for visitors to explore. Between the cathedral and the prison, there is an open-air flower market that has continued since the early 19th century, with iron-framed stalls filled with colorful flowers all year round. The entire island can be explored on foot, making it perfect for combining with a stroll along the banks of the Seine.France · Paris

The Musée de l'Orangerie is a small yet significant art institution in Paris, with Monet's monumental "Water Lilies" as its central attraction. An immersive "Water Lilies" experience: Two oval galleries on the first floor were designed specifically for the eight "Water Lilies" paintings donated by Monet in his later years. Natural light streams in from above, extending along the curved walls, creating a tranquil atmosphere where light and shadow intertwine with the water's surface—a setting often described as the "Sistine Chapel of Impressionism." The Impressionist treasures on the lower level: The underground galleries house works by masters such as Cézanne, Renoir, Matisse, Picasso, and Modigliani, offering a rich contrast to the serenity of the upper floors. Overall assessment: The museum is relatively small, taking approximately 1-2 hours to see everything. Visitor density is typically lower than the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay, making it ideal for a quiet and contemplative experience. Advance online ticketing is recommended, and a combined ticket with the Musée d'Orsay is also suggested.

I would recommend for everyone. The view is amazing and it had a lot of space up there for the people. Being open until late also makes it an easy evening spot to see the sunset in Paris.

Île de la Cité truly lives up to its reputation as the historical heart of Paris! Standing in front of Notre Dame Cathedral, one can deeply feel the grandeur and vicissitudes of the medieval architecture. The winding, weathered alleyways on the island seem to carry the weight of time with every step. Although Notre Dame is still under restoration, its rose windows and towers remain breathtaking. A stroll along the verdant Pont Neuf in the evening, watching the Seine shimmer and flow, truly evokes a sense of romance and tranquility that transcends centuries.
