The Barossa Reservoir in South Australia is an important catchment area that provides irrigation and drinking water to the Barossa region. The surrounding environment of the reservoir is quiet and beautiful, and it is a good place for locals to go out and have a picnic. However, the difference between Barossa Reservoir and other reservoirs with beautiful scenery is that there is a strange "echo wall" beside it. If you speak in a low voice at this end of the Whispering Wall, people standing on the other end of the 140-meter outer wall will hear what you are saying clearly, which is similar to the Whispering Wall at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. This magical echo wall is the retaining wall of the Barossa Reservoir. It was built in the early 20th century and was once Australia's tallest reservoir holding wall. This wonderful acoustic phenomenon is based on the continuous reflection of sound waves by the smooth arched walls.Williamstown · 16.8 km from Barossa

The style of South Australia is partly explained through red wine. At this time, it is impossible not to mention Barossa. South Australia is a big wine exporting province, and Barossa alone accounts for half of the wine exports. When I visited the Barossa in person, I realized what the "Red Wine Kingdom" is. Here, no matter how much you know about red wine, you can appreciate the charm of red wine. If you happen to have researched on red wine, then in Barossa, you will definitely be as excited as finding a soulmate. The Barossa has been making great wines for generations. The picturesque Barossa, just over an hour's drive from Adelaide, has been settled here since 1842, so it still retains a charming European style. Take a walk on the road that stretches from Kapunda in the north to Mt Pleasant in the south and learn about the Barossa's colourful history. The road passes through many villages in the Barossa, showcasing museums, pioneer buildings and some old Australian vineyards. Explore Tanunda's museum in the town's original 1865 post office. Here, church furniture, pottery and other artifacts will make you imagine the life of early German settlers. Art remains an important part of the Barossa tradition, with galleries, studios, craft stores and antique shops everywhere. For local artists, vineyards, cafés and restaurants often become their galleries as well. If you have plenty of time, you may wish to visit the Lindao Lavender Farm. During the lavender season (August-January), more than 90 species of lavender bloom collectively on the farm, with a fragrant aroma and a dreamlike beauty.Flaxman Valley · 4.3 km from downtown

Adelaide Central Market has been open since 1869, with a history spanning over 150 years. It is one of the largest indoor fresh produce markets in the Southern Hemisphere, with over 70 stalls under one roof. Located in the heart of Adelaide, the market features vibrant aisles connecting the stalls. Fresh fish and meat, fruits and vegetables, international cheeses, artisanal bread, desserts, cured meats, nuts, spices, and freshly ground coffee are lined up along the way. Rather than just a place to buy ingredients, it is more of a gourmet maze where you can eat while you browse. The market developed from early morning street trading by immigrant farmers. Since then, immigrants from all over the world have brought in ingredients and culinary skills from their hometowns. European hams and sausages, Asian spices, and local South Australian fruits and vegetables are all showcased together, making it a microcosm of South Australia's diverse food culture. The market's main facade, built in 1900, is still in use today. Most stall owners here are happy to offer samples and chat about their ingredients. Chinatown is right next to the market, so if you get tired of walking, you can easily find a small restaurant to sit down and enjoy a big meal.Adelaide · 55.8 km from Barossa

I went to one of the wineries, but didn't taste the wine. I just looked at the vineyards. Because I came in January, the whole Adelaide area was very hot, and I felt that I had no interest in anything under the scorching sun.

There are many kinds of things you can buy in the market. I think it’s amazing. The fruits and vegetables in Australia are very big, and there are also many desserts. I bought donuts, which are very delicious.

Adelaide is a relatively large city with complicated road conditions. I drove very carefully. I finally reached the city center and found that there were very few parking lots. I found one, which cost $7 an hour. It was expensive, so I had to park. The famous Blueway Pedestrian Street is located above the parking lot. It is the commercial center of Adelaide, with various shopping malls. If you like shopping, come here.

Walking into this library, it's like seeing the hall of Hogwarts in the movie. The interior of the library feels so old, the lighting, the furnishings, and even the railings are very special. The bookshelves are full of old books, the paper has become soft and thin, and the books have become lighter! At each table, everyone is studying on their own. I feel that studying here should also improve their grades. 🏛 The library is located between the University of Adelaide and the Art Gallery of South Australia, just opposite Roundle Mall, and there are museums and art galleries next to it, completing three check-in points at one time

In a small German town, although the red leaves in late autumn are the best season, other seasons have their own beauty. Although there is only a short street, every small shop is a different world. A strong German style.

Bumbunga comes from the Aboriginal Parnpangka, which means rain water lake. Along the way, there are iron sculptures, huge cockroaches, rats, tin men, flying saucers, big flies, etc. This is a very ironic set of sculptures made by private environmentalists using waste products to protest the government's plan to build a landfill in this area. Among them, next to the giant cockroach sculpture stands the title of "The World's Largest Cockroach" certified by Australia's Channel 9!
