Polar Park

Polar Park is located in the municipality of Bardu in Northern Norway and is the northernmost wildlife park in the world, situated within the Arctic Circle. Lofoten Island

Sommarøyis a small fishing island in Northern Norway, located within the Arctic Circle. It sits at the mouth of a fjord west of Tromso, and you can reach the island by driving about 1 hour from downtown Tromso and crossing the bridge. The island is famous for its unique relationship with time: from mid-May to late July, it experiences the polar day, where the sun does not set for over 2 months; from late November to mid-January of the following year, the sun barely rises at all. The island's natural scenery is equally stunning: fine white sand beaches paired with clear, turquoise waters have led many travelers to call it the "Caribbean of the North." Standing on the beach, you can also look out at the sharp Håja island in the sea; it is said that the design of the Arctic Cathedral in Tromso was inspired by it. Summer is perfect for strolling on the beach under the midnight sun or going kayaking; in winter, the low light pollution makes it a great place to view the aurora around Tromso.
