Great Salt Lake

4.4/5
121 reviews
Great Salt Lakeboasts a unique ecological environment and spectacular natural scenery, making it an important site for studying salt lake ecology, birdwatching, and experiencing the scenery of desert waters. In years with sufficient precipitation, the lake's surface area expands, while during dry periods, the water level recedes and the exposed salt flats extend further. American white pelicans, phalaropes, and other waterbirds are common visitors to the lake. The Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, located at the lake's northeast corner, is a renowned birdwatching spot that attracts many nature enthusiasts who come to observe migratory flocks and experience the unique charm of the lake's ecosystem. At dusk, sunlight spills across the lake, often painting the water in shades of gold and red, while sailboats drift slowly in the distance, creating a tranquil and beautiful scene. Overall, this lake is not just a unique saltwater lake, but a natural space that blends ecological wonders, geological history, and artistic landscapes.United States · Box Elder County

This area is on the edge of the Yellowstone crater, north of the east side of the park. It is an open grassland with relatively little geothermal activity. Because of the rivers and lush water and grass, it is one of the areas with more wild animals in Yellowstone Park. The main animals are bison, elk, black bears, brown bears and coyotes. Newborn red deer and bison can be seen in spring and early summer, and wolves may be seen in July-August. Wild ducks, pelicans and other birds are often seen in the Yellowstone River. Wait, a bit of Grand Prismatic Spring style. Milky Pool is another famous spring, the center of the spring is blue, the surrounding is milky white, and there are a lot of dead trees around it. We went to Salt Lake City to see the Great Salt Lake. The Great Salt Lake is a vast expanse of snow-white and boundless. We had no problem walking and running on it, but the scenery was not as beautiful as the fountain in Yellowstone Park, and it didn't seem as colorful as the salt lake in Qinghai.

There are a series of glacier-formed lakes in the eastern part of the park, with Jackson Lake being the largest. Several roads run from north to south, with views of glaciers nestling in canyons, lakes reflecting the blue sky, waterfalls cascading, and streams flowing.

Shoshone Falls is located in Twin Falls near the Snake River. It is 65 meters high and 274 meters wide. Shoshone Falls is a little higher than the famous Niagara Falls located on the Canada-US border, so it is often called the Niagara Falls of the West. It ranks 6th on the list of the world's top 10 most breathtaking waterfalls. In short, it is a great attraction. You can watch the video for details. The key is that there are few people, beautiful scenery and it is free. Of course, the best way to visit is to drive yourself.

This old attraction in Yellowstone National Park is said to have once yielded a good catch. Now, it's just a tourist attraction. The views from both sides of the bridge are breathtaking, with the blue sky, snow-capped mountains, and the mirror-like lake surface. It's a truly breathtaking spot.
