Nha Trang beach

4.8/5
4.3k reviews
Nha Trang beach is the main city beach stretching alongTran Phu Street, extending for approx. 7 km, and facing Nha Trang Bay. There are 19 islands in the bay that block waves from the open sea, making the nearshore water relatively calm and clear. The coastal promenade next to the beach is lined with coconut trees, and the hedges are trimmed into various shapes. In the early morning, residents often run, exercise, or swim directly in the sea on the beach; in the evening, many people also stroll along the promenade, waiting for the sunset over the sea. During the day, you can rent a lounge chair to sunbathe, or go swimming or play beach volleyball. Along the coastal boulevard, there are many restaurants and stalls serving fresh seafood, where you can taste local specialties such as lobster, grilled squid, and fish cake noodle soup. Standing by the beach is the Tram Huong Tower, shaped like an agarwood bud, which is a landmark of the Nha Trang waterfront.Vietnam · Nha Trang

My Khe Beach stretches along the coastal Vo Nguyen Giap Road and can be reached in just over ten minutes by car from the city center, making it a representative urban beach in Da Nang. Its fine, white sand, gentle slope, and clear water are what have drawn tourists here for years. Unlike many beaches far from the city, one side here is lined with resort hotels, cafes, and seafood stalls, while the other side offers expansive views of the sea and sky, with only a road separating the city from the ocean. In the early morning, the sun slowly rises from the horizon, painting the sea gold. In addition to strolling on the beach and taking in the ocean views, you can also rent a lounge chair to sunbathe. There are also water activities here such as jet skiing, banana boating, and parasailing.Vietnam · Da Nang

Da Lat Night Market is a vibrant market full of local character, attracting many tourists and local residents. The night market usually begins at dusk, and the streets gradually become lively, with a dazzling array of stalls offering a wide variety of goods and food. Food stalls are the highlight of the night market. Vietnamese grilled rice paper, grilled over charcoal, is especially popular in Dalat. Thin rice paper is topped with various ingredients and grilled until the edges are slightly crispy. Biting into it while hot fills your mouth with a savory, smoky flavor. Crowds of customers often gather in front of skewer stalls waiting for their food. There are stalls where you can grab and go, as well as those with tables and chairs where you can sit down and eat at a leisurely pace. Dalat's strawberries are famous, and dried strawberries, jams, and various candied fruits are common items. The merchandise stalls are just as lively: scarves and knit hats are hung in rows, while artichoke tea and flower stalls decorate the street with vibrant colors. The atmosphere of the night market is friendly and welcoming, making it an ideal place to experience Dalat's nightlife.Vietnam · Dalat

Nui Son Tra

346 reviews
Nui Son Tra is located northeast of Da Nang and is also known as Nui Son Tra or Monkey Mountain. The peninsula extends from the shore into the sea, its mountain mass acting as a natural barrier that shields Da Nang from the wind and waves coming from the sea. Today, it is designated as a nature reserve, with large areas of well-preserved primeval forest, and is also an important habitat for the endangered red-shanked douc langur. Linh Ung Pagoda on the southern hillside of the peninsula is a must-visit stop for many tourists. The nearly 70m-tall standing statue of Guanyin in front of the temple faces the sea and can be seen from many corners of downtown Da Nang. Standing on the temple platform, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the city and the bay. Continuing north along the mountain road, you can also find a giant banyan tree said to be 1,000 years old, with aerial roots hanging to the ground and a dense canopy like a cover. When the weather is clear, you can climb to the summit, where an observation deck converted from an old US military helipad offers a wide view, taking in the city, the beach, and the distant sea. The island loop road follows the coastline around the peninsula, and riding a motorcycle or taking a self-drive tour is a common way to enjoy the scenery here.Vietnam · Da Nang

Japanese Covered-Bridge was built in 1593, initially by the Japanese, and rebuilt by the Chinese during the Ming Dynasty in China, with a stele erected as proof. The red paint on the wood has peeled off, similar to many ancient Chinese bridges. Interestingly, one end of the bridge is guarded by a monkey, and the other by a dog, said to be because construction began in the Year of the Monkey and was completed in the Year of the Dog. The bridge is less than 2m wide, with rusty, round iron railings on both sides, and no particularly decorative carvings. There is an exhibition room in the middle of the covered bridge, where bright yellow French-style buildings and tall coconut trees are reflected on the river surface, along with the afterglow of the sunset, creating a quiet and harmonious scene.Vietnam · Da Nang

It's been a long time since I've had such a comfortable hotel. Every smiling face was like a gentle spring breeze, and the atmosphere of being respected felt natural. The bedding was comfortable, the service was attentive, and there wasn't a single unpleasant experience. I would definitely come back after my stay.

My Khe Beach is one of Da Nang's most beautiful beaches, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water. I highly recommend visiting early in the morning, around sunrise, when the weather is cool, the sea is calm, and the beach is peaceful. It's the perfect time for a refreshing swim, a relaxing walk, or watching local people start their day. The fresh atmosphere and stunning sunrise make the experience truly unforgettable.

Son Tra Peninsula in Da Nang is an absolutely underrated tourist destination. Besides its stunning coastline and lush primeval forests, the peninsula boasts numerous historical sites, including the ruins of French colonial fortifications and the former site of a radar station used by the US military during the Vietnam War. Visitors can explore the French-style churches and monuments on the western side of the peninsula on foot or by bicycle, experiencing the historical imprints of different eras. Of course, combining this with the Linh Ung Pagoda makes it an even more exceptional destination.

The atmosphere is top-notch, transporting you to another era. The various shops selling silk, souvenirs, and leather create the atmosphere of two hundred years ago. The town is decorated with lanterns. I understand that this mountain had strong Chinese and Japanese communities, so the town is colorful, full of tourists and food, like any market town. I downgraded my rating because of the crowds. But if you come in the morning or afternoon, you'll avoid them. I really enjoyed everything; I truly enjoyed shopping and exploring. But beware of cyclists.

🌟The scenery is stunning: 🌊The lake is as clear as a big mirror, shaped like a crescent and the map of Vietnam. Surrounded by green mountains and shaded by green trees, the blue sky, white clouds and mountains are reflected in the lake, which is breathtakingly beautiful😍The lake is sparkling under the setting sun in the evening, and there are swans playing, and various flowers on the shore are blooming gorgeously. There are different color feasts in different seasons. 🧐Humanistic charm: It is named after the female poet Hu Chunxiang, which has a lot of cultural connotations. The Catholic Church by the lake is elegant and dignified, full of French style, with a sense of history and exotic characteristics intertwined. 🎉Leisure is super fun: You can fish, row a boat, ride a water bike, and have fun. There are also many delicious foods and drinks by the lake. Sitting by the lake, having a cup of coffee, eating delicious food, and watching the scenery, it is so comfortable. Or take a horse carriage ride, it's super romantic💕 📍It is in the center of Dalat, with many attractions around it, so it's super convenient to visit.

A magical encounter in Da Nang city for travelers, to actually witness this historical building, that is very unique in its architectural features, and its pastel coat. During its opening hours, visitors are welcomed to roam inside, at the front yard, to get a closer look. The best time to go would be in the morning, or just before sunset in the evening, when the color of the building gets really soft and beautiful.
