Louvre Abu Dhabi
Louvre Abu Dhabi is located in the cultural district of Saadiyat Island. As an art museum jointly established by the UAE and France, it opened to the public in November 2017. The building was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel. The entire museum consists of dozens of small white structures, with seawater channeled between them, creating the distant appearance of a "museum city" floating on the sea. Above it spans a giant perforated dome approx. 180 m in diameter, composed of over 7,000 layered star-shaped components. Sunlight filters through the gaps, casting dappled patterns on walls and water surfaces. SeaWorld® Yas Island
SeaWorld® Yas Island is located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE. It opened to the public in May 2023 as the first SeaWorld-branded marine life theme park in the Middle East outside the US. The entire park is built across five indoor levels, covering approx. 180,000 m². Designed around the "One Ocean" narrative, it connects marine ecosystems from the Arabian Gulf to the polar regions through eight themed zones. With approx. 58 million liters of water and home to over 150 species and 60,000 marine animals, the park offers a complete immersive experience. The centerpiece "endless ocean" aquarium holds approx. 25 million liters of water, where sharks, rays and schools of fish swim in the massive tank. The vertical viewing window "endless vista" spanning multiple floors is a popular photo spot, with the spectacular "whirlpool" view formed by tens of thousands of fish. The "Abu Dhabi ocean" zone showcases the Arabian Gulf ecosystem and the history of local Bedouins pearl diving, where visitors can spot gentle dugongs and touch rays and starfish in the touch pool. The "Arctic" and "Antarctic" polar zones house animals like walruses, sea otters, puffins, king penguins and macaroni penguins. "Rocky point" is home to California sea lions and spotted seals, with dedicated theater shows featuring sea lion behaviors. The "tropical ocean" features bottlenose dolphins and flamingos, along with the launched coaster "Manta." The "micro ocean" resembles an underwater playground for children, housing indoor family coasters and other rides. The hub area "one ocean" presents the "One epic ocean" theme show on a 360-degree screen, while the pearl diving performance is another long-running show worth scheduling in advance. Since the entire park is indoors, it remains comfortable even at midday in summer, unaffected by outdoor heat or weather, making it ideal for a half-day or full-day visit. Each themed zone has staff on-site to guide visitors about animal knowledge, and questions can be asked directly. Families with children are advised to allocate ample time for the "mini ocean" and touch pool. The aquarium is designed around the "One Ocean" theme storyline, featuring multiple immersive experience zones that connect different marine ecosystems. teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi is a permanent immersive digital art venue created by art collective teamLab in the Saadiyat Cultural District of Abu Dhabi. Scheduled to open to the public in 2025, it shares the coastal cultural zone with Louvre Abu Dhabi. The approx. 17,000 m² venue features a pure white, cloud-like undulating exterior where indoor and outdoor spaces blend seamlessly. Its massive interconnected exhibition halls make the architecture itself a work of art worth contemplating. This place continues teamLab's creative philosophy of "the environment creates phenomena, and phenomena generate artworks": the artworks do not exist independently but are composed of phenomena continuously generated by air, water, and light in a specific environment, constantly changing with the audience's movements. Notable works include "Massless suns and dark suns," which explores the concept of "existence" through luminous and dark spheres without physical surfaces; there are also luminous sculptures suspended in mid-air that visitors can walk into, as well as waterfalls formed by falling light particles and a universe of flowing water particles filling the entire space. For family-friendly fun, we recommend "Sketch nature": draw your own creatures and release them into the ecosystem, watching them forage, reproduce, or get preyed upon by other creatures. If you need a break, visit the lamp tea house for a cup of tea—the tea comes to life with changing light and sound, and the artwork disappears once you drink it. Before leaving, you can also visit the sketch factory to turn your drawings into souvenirs like badges and T-shirts. The venue has no map, no fixed route, and no artwork descriptions at the entrance, leaving exploration entirely to your curiosity. Each visit follows a different path with unique discoveries. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is located in Abu Dhabi and is one of the largest mosques in the United Arab Emirates. The entire mosque is characterized by its pure white marble, with stone sourced from countries such as Italy, India, China, and North Macedonia. The columns and walls are inlaid with semi-precious stones like lapis lazuli, amethyst, and mother-of-pearl to create floral and vine patterns, using the Pietra Dura inlay technique originating from Italy. The core highlights of the mosque are concentrated in the main prayer hall. The floor is covered with a handmade wool carpet measuring approximately 5,400 m², which was hand-woven by about 1,200 Iranian artisans over nearly two years, with no visible seams. The carpet's pattern echoes the design of the giant chandeliers overhead. The mosque has 7 chandeliers custom-made in Munich, Germany, all decorated with millions of Swarovski crystals and plated with 24K gold. The columns are another iconic element of the mosque, with the capitals of over 1,000 exterior columns adorned with gilded date palm leaf decorations, creating a sharp contrast with the pure white marble. Design: The Louvre Abu Dhabi truly has an artistic flair; the architecture is incredibly stylish, with intriguing light and shadow effects and a capped ceiling. Just exploring the architecture itself is worth spending considerable time on.
Exhibits: Seeing artifacts from various civilizations, especially Chinese and Egyptian, evoked mixed feelings. Meeting them here across such a vast distance felt both wondrous and heartbreaking—it's painful to see our own cultural treasures scattered overseas.
Environment: The space is vast, but it gets incredibly hot in the summer. Some areas aren't entirely indoors, so it's quite sunny. I recommend avoiding the hottest times of day.

We had a great experience, but I recommend this park for 9+, maybe rides are too scary for younger kids. Mine were 9 and 12, they had a good time.

A highly recommended place to visit! The animals in the aquarium seem happy and willing to interact with humans. The animals in the touch pool are willing to be touched and don't shy away. The 360° screen at the aquarium is really luxurious! There are many clean restrooms. The food and shows are average, and it's quite cold around the penguins.

The architecture is breathtaking, with beautiful white and gold details, intricate decorations and magnificent domes. The Great Hall is particularly impressive and offers incredible photo opportunities.Beyond its beauty, the palace provides a fascinating insight into the history, culture and traditions of the UAE, with exhibitions about Emirati heritage, governance and diplomacy. Every detail is carefully designed, making the visit both educational and unforgettable.The atmosphere is elegant and peaceful, and the entire experience is truly unique. If you have the opportunity, don't miss the Palace in Motion light and sound show!Highly recommended for anyone visiting Abu Dhabi. A perfect combination of culture, history and extraordinary architecture!

This island has 4 big Amusement parks and a big mall. Some hotels have private beaches, but you pay a little and get a towel, water, and chair. The food is great. Just avoid the people who shove, cut lines, and talk loudly. You don't need to guess who they are, you will notice them quickly.

This amusement park is perfect for a stress-free summer vacation. It's air-conditioned throughout, so even though it's in the desert, it's cool and comfortable. Going early means you can skip the lines; it gets a bit busier in the afternoon, and it's a great place for taking photos!

✅ Check-in Guide: Go down to the basement level and turn left to find the Food Court. Replenish your energy with food and drinks after shopping! After eating, walk straight to the self-service machine and scan the QR code with your phone for registration. It's completely free! You also need to scan this code to enter, so don't lose it!
⚠️ Important Notes: The Grand Mosque is solemn and majestic, perfect for taking photos.
Whether you're a couple or a pair, absolutely no physical contact is allowed when taking photos.
This is out of respect for religious beliefs 🙏 Individual photos should also be taken without making gestures or pointing at others/buildings. Quietly taking photos is already breathtaking!
