The staff were very friendly and we had a very pleasant day. The breakfast was more varied than we expected and we were very satisfied. Our child asked for more sausages. The TV was also very good, with YouTube available. We stayed here to see the Awa Odori dance, and it was convenient as it was close to the station. We will definitely stay here again.
I had a great stay at Hotel Sunroute Tokushima! The staff were the real highlight—super friendly, attentive, and made everything so easy, with no trouble communicating in English at all. The hotel’s location right across from Tokushima Station is a major plus, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. It’s a solid choice for anyone looking for excellent service and a prime spot to explore the area.
It seems to be a historic city hotel, with a wedding hall, banquet hall, and conference hall, and it seems that some people are staying there for conferences and banquets. It has been recently renovated, so it is very clean and nice. The room was very spacious and relaxing. I stayed only for a night, but it was a size that you would not expect from a major chain business hotel for the same price, so I highly recommend it. There is a large bath with a washing area separate from the toilet in the room, but there is also a clean public bath, and there is a coffee server just outside the public bath where you can drink freely.
The only thing that bothered me a little was that the front desk was small and the lobby felt more like an inn than a hotel. Also, the door key was a PIN code, which was difficult to use. It seems that the system also supports QR codes, so I would have liked one.
Overall, it is a reasonably priced, spacious, clean hotel that I would recommend to anyone visiting Tokushima.
Traveling around the four countries, Takamatsu-Tokushima-Kochi-Matsuyama-Takamatsu, one JR Pass per person, so accommodations are booked in budget hotels near JR stations. The accommodation industry in Japan is really standardized, and the rooms in different places are the same. The neat facilities are perfect and the details are in place, and the waiters are as warm and polite as the waiters. If you want to talk about the shortcomings, such as the room is small, you can check in after three o’clock, but this is a common phenomenon in the industry. For a traveler, the room is just a bath and sleeping area. It doesn’t matter how big the room is, and it doesn’t matter if the check-in time is not up. Just put it out, so this shortcoming doesn’t matter.
The environment and location of this hotel in Tai Po are very good. It is also close to the surrounding attractions. The dinner and breakfast are rich. The hot spring is also very good. You can see the surrounding environment. It is also very convenient to make bridges and small town bronze statues. The place is large and there is free parking. I will definitely stay in this hotel next time I come. 👍👍
Hygiene: very clean, but not as good as most excellent hotels in Japan Environment: The flowers and plants are very good looking. In fact, when you live, you will see a lot of insects... Service: Good attitude, maybe not full score but worth 5 stars Facilities: Some sense of time, but the overall is very good, but the main thing is the country house hotel, so travel must arrange a small bread transfer one day in advance, but the taxi point can be reimbursed, this gave 5 stars in the service bar. I booked two rooms this time. The environmental facilities are also very good. The check-in service staff is also very polite after 9 pm. The room key has been prepared early in the morning.
Unfortunately, there is only one small bath in the big bath.
Kokumin Shukusha Otaniso is located in Naruto and about 5 minutes by car from Naruto Station, near ryusenji Temple and Naruto German House. Yukata are available for guests to wear during their stay. Guests may borrow conveniences such as hair dryers and desk lamps at no additional charge (please inquire at the front desk for details). Facilities include a communal bath, a coin laundry and a BBQ area. The hotel possesses 13 guest rooms.
