The hummus with chilli oil and crispy chickpeas on flatbread was fantastic, and the fried shrimp and calamari were very generous portions.

Good food.  Great service and had a private dining room for our party.  Faultless. Service charge a bit steep at 12.5%.  Good decor.

Absolutely gorgeous Sunday roast there this weekend. Food was amazing, everything cooked to perfection. The staff were really attentive and gave great recommendations for the extremely long list of beers they had available!

Wonderful Sunday Roast!

Beer choice and quality - check Service and staff - check Cost - eye-wateringly expensive Food - we visited on a relatively quiet Thursday evening.  Stout and Cheddar Rarebit with candied jalapeños. Avoid this unpleasant gloopy mess on a bit of dry bread. Focaccia with oil and balsamic uninspiring. Pork Belly - very fatty, a remoulade spooned on top and the unforgiveable sin of rubbery, chewy inedible skin.  Flat Iron steak - OK, but for red wine jus being a bit salty. Fries - these were very good and the best bit of the meal.  "Optional" 12.5% service charge presented already added to bill. Overall, a pretty average experience at a higher end price.

Really enjoyed a couple of great drinks here at the weekend. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the selection of beers was excellent. Not eye-wateringly expensive either, given its location and when compared with other venues nearby!

Great selection of beers but service on June 16th at 4.45pm terrible! Seemed an inconvenience to get served with an empty bar and two people behind the bar. Too busy doing other things and when I was eventually served I was just handed the card payment machine without any talking; I still dont know how much I paid. No politeness.

Delicious Sunday roasts and an interesting selection of rums. The starters were great also (croquettes and chicken wings).

The server was amazing and controlled the entire dining area. He certainly made our dining experience enjoyable by refilling wine and water glasses. Food was well prepared, ample, and tasty. We enjoyed our experience and will be sure to return.

Who can&rsquo;t say that you can stumble upon delicious food in Cambridge, and this restaurant is right inside the school building, allowing you to feel the deliciousness in an academic atmosphere.

Thought the bill was rather pricey 34gbp for Sunday roast plus spritzer at the beginning but after researching other restaurants realised it was probably average in price. Waitress was really nice, traditional English feel in decor and service. I picked roast beef which was almost well done but surprisingly meat was still tender, wonder how they did that?🤔
