Matbah Restaurant

The restaurant was fantastic—the terrace offered stunning views of the surrounding neighborhood, and a gentle breeze was blowing. All the dishes were freshly prepared, and our favorite was the lamb leg—absolutely delicious!

A nice little place outside Topkapi Palace serving typical Turkish recipes, some dating back to the 16th century. I tried the eggplant seasoned with cinnamon and cardamom, and the seasonal salad, both were good.

The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavor. Every dish was meticulously prepared with attention to detail. The restaurant's atmosphere was equally impressive: beautifully designed, warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for enjoying delicious food. What was truly impressive was their exceptional hospitality. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to savor delicious authentic Turkish cuisine and enjoy an unforgettable atmosphere!

The predominantly white decor is very elegant and romantic, and the view from the windows is expansive and beautiful. The food focuses on local traditional flavors, with unique ingredients and seasonings that deserve praise.
