I had been here for a drink long ago but this time it was for a more substantial meal. We started with the mixed belota sausage board and cheese which was fantastic with the rustic Algarve bread.

Everything about this place is classy. The staff, the layout, the menu, even the bathrooms. However I don't mean classy in a posh/overpriced snobbish way, it is just really well put together and you can see the effort put into every aspect of the place. We had some of the best wine I've ever tried here but unfortunately didn't get a chance to have a cheese/meat board, however we did see the staff putting them together and they looked incredible!!

The place was quiet when we arrived at 8 and not hugely busy when we left around 9.30 The design of the interior is wonderful, based on a wine cellar. The further in you go, the cooler it gets. A good choice of wines by the company that owns the place. We were more than happy with the €15 Alantejo red we had. It paired very well with the €25 meat and cheese board we shared. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We'll worth a visit

One of the best things that happened while meandering through this beautiful part of Lisbon was stopping at this wonderful wine bar, with a modern design that will fit any "IN" areas of NYC Chicago or London! Trendy, with an excellent choice of wines and a good asortiment of hams and cheese!!!! If your travels are taking you there...just go!
