Our favorite restaurant in Oslo We loved this restaurant so much that we even came three times in eight days! We were here for a large business lunch and had an amazing buffet, and the other two times we came with friends and had hot chocolate and a very delicious apple cake.
A bit far to walk from the main attractions but well worth it. The bartender at the Scotsman recommended it. Our waitress, Elizabeth was great. The beer selection was superb. The burgers? Amazing!!!!. Unlike burgers in the US, you can taste the meat. If I lived in Oslo I would eat there every week. I will be back.
This was a great place for lunch. A very "touristy" place where you don't expect to eat in a stylish and quiet place, but 19 restaurant delivered. Not sure if we just ordered the special offer, starter, main course, 3 espressos, 1 dessert to share, plenty of white wine, we had our 8 month old baby daughter with us and they provided a high chair that was comfortable and safe. Hot water was provided afterwards to heat up our daughter's afternoon snack. Really good service, very friendly.
This restaurant is not very big, but the decoration style is very unique. The food here tastes good and the service is thoughtful.
