Maoqiu has a restaurant with an unbeatable sea view. It is on the mountain, very close to the Seven-color Earth Scenic Area. This restaurant is usually referred to as the mountaintop restaurant by Chinese people. The business is very hot and it also receives some teams, so if you want a good seat, you must make an appointment in advance. If you go without an appointment, there will basically be no seat. We called the day before to make an appointment for a seat outside so that we can enjoy the sea view. When we arrived, there were already some people. The waiter took us to the second row from the outside to the inside. I saw that there was still a space on the sea side, so I asked if we could move there. The waiter helped us carry the table and chairs together. It was very nice. I ordered a tuna salad for the appetizer. Doesn't it look great? The taste is very fresh and tender. I think it uses basil leaves, which is fragrant. Because I always miss the crab cake in Washington, I ordered a crab meat or something. The surface was slightly burnt, but the taste was still good. This restaurant is a French restaurant, but the food in Maoqiu still has a lot of Indian flavors. I ordered curry squid rice for the main course. The squid was not soft at all, and the chewiness was just right. I ordered steak with green papaya salad. I originally ordered this because I missed the green papaya salad in Thailand. There was blood in the middle when I cut it, but it still felt a little old. The location of the restaurant is very good, and the view is very good. You can see the Monet Mountain and the blue and green beach in the distance. The air is very transparent and not hot at all. It is really great to dine in such an environment.
