Great location and food
We stayed for 3 nights in the Riverside hotel. This is their restaurant. Great location, very nice food, nice and attentive staff. Sad we have to leave.

The best accommodations in Vangrong are all in the city. The main attraction here is the rare rural scenery, and it is also close to the tourist attractions. The accommodation conditions are indeed average.
Fortunately, the service is warm. It is a hotel opened by Vietnamese, and communication is a bit difficult. No one can speak Chinese, but you can use translation software.
The Tunisian is the lobby manager of the night shift and can speak English. Breakfast must be booked one day in advance.

Friendly and clean
Visited several times during my stay in Vang Vieng. Staff always chatty and friendly. Pizza was good and croissant available anytime of day. Recommend a visit

Waited nearly an hour and a half for food!
Started off lovely with staff being pretty friendly. Ordered garlic bread and a kebab. After 45 mins plus we asked if food was coming and they had forgotten so got the garlic bread a while later then maybe another half hour went past before asking again if the kebab was coming and it took another while. Food wasn&#39;&#39;t bad at all and staff were not the worst just not helpful whatsoever! When we got the bill for full price we kindly asked if we could have some sort of discount (even a beer knocked off) and they said no. Wouldn&#39;&#39;t come back.
