Sushi Dai

Sushi Dai is a highly recommended restaurant. The sushi is really big and the sashimi is absolutely not ambiguous. It is very satisfying to eat. The consumption is reasonable and the service is very good, but there are really a lot of people.

This is a very popular sushi restaurant. When we came here at noon, there were quite a lot of people. We waited in line for about 30 minutes. However, the sushi is definitely big and delicious, and it is not expensive for Japanese consumption.

The chef's menu set was 4500 yen. I waited about 50 minutes to be seated on a Monday morning. The place runs like a finely-oiled machine, each portion of sushi is served to everyone at the same time, large groups come in and leave in large groups. There are about 16 seats at the bar and a table near the door/window with two seats. Really good sushi

I came to Tokyo 2 years ago. Of course I had to try Sushi Dai when I first went to Tsukiji. We finished watching the tuna auction at about 6am, but there were already many people lining up. My sister and I had to wait until nearly 11am before we could enter the store. Fortunately, there was a mother and son from Taiwan in front of us who chatted with us while waiting, so time passed faster. We each chose a selected sushi meal + a sushi of our choice. The Toro (tuna) sushi was very sweet and rich in oil. The sea urchin sushi was sweet and delicate. We also chose scallop sushi. The chef opened a fresh scallop for us to taste, which was very fresh and sweet with a hint of seawater. This meal was very satisfying, but it was a pity that we waited too long.

The sushi at Sushi Big is very good. The Yamato Sushi restaurant is a bit bigger and the taste is really good. Friends who have been there have always recommended it to me. I finally got to eat it this time and I felt extremely satisfied.

The four of us originally planned to queue for Sushi Dai, but we all overslept. However, the seafood rice was absolutely delicious! The toro, sea urchin, and eel were all so tasty! We also ordered extra toro and shrimp; they seemed so fresh and delicious, we felt we'd be missing out if we didn't eat more! Haha! The final bill came to 19,500 JPY. Sushi Dai opens at 5 pm, but the queue starts at 3 pm.
