⛩️The famous Kyoto has a low-key good neighbor - Shiga Prefecture, formerly known as Omi, which has Japan&#39;s largest freshwater lake, Lake Biwa. Lake Biwa Shiga Prefecture 

💢Although I often see TV saying that Kyoto people and Shiga people are at odds and often complain about each other, Shiga, which is very close to Kyoto, is still an ideal tourist destination.

❄️It happened to snow heavily on the day I went from Kyoto to Shiga, and the atmosphere suddenly changed. I asked the local taxi driver and he said that it often snows in Shiga in winter.

🚉 Transportation strategy:
Take the JR line 🚄 from Kyoto Station and you can get to [Omi Hachiman] Station in about 40 minutes.
🔸You can take the bus 🚌 to the cable car station, which is near [Himurehashigu Shrine] Himurehashigu Shrine.
