Service was friendly and casual. Food was excellent, although they could have just offered some bread, a simple baguette wouldn't have satisfied me as this restaurant now has a star, although the accompanying herb butter was excellent. The cheese ravioli was outstanding, with a rich umami flavour. However, I went for the tasting menu, so I missed out on some of the extras that usually come with the menu, like some amuse bouche or hors d'oeuvres. Maybe it will take some time for this restaurant to live up to the 1 star rating, maybe they just want to do things a little differently, but that would be a nice touch. I ate at Hugos a few days ago, where the cooking was 1 star, but I felt the biscuit cream was a miss, but hugo still deserves a star. I would go again, that's all that matters.
This restaurant mainly advocates healthy eating, so it serves vegetarian food. Germans' food is actually quite greasy. The bread here is well made, all whole wheat, and healthier.
Friends who pass by must come and try it. It is still full of memories....
