🍽Recommended dining: I decided to dine at Roka Street Bistro in downtown Rovaniemi, but the restaurant was small and crowded. I didn't make an appointment in advance and was told that I needed to wait in line for about an hour. I guessed that I would have to wait in line everywhere and it was warm inside the restaurant, so I sat down and waited. During the waiting process, I could ask the waiter for the menu first. It turned out to be a wise decision. I waited for less than 15 minutes and there was a window seat to eat. I placed an order for the dishes I had just taken a fancy to while waiting. The waiter would also confirm whether the dishes would be served all at once or in sequence. I especially like Nordic restaurants. There are star lights hanging by the windows, which are romantic and have a warm feeling of home. 🍲Recommended dishes: The berry juice was served before the main course. The refreshing sweet and sour taste was very appetizing. Don't force the speed of serving. The slow pace of the Finns is not fast enough. Just wait quietly for about half an hour! The salmon soup is a must-order. It is rich in milk flavor and is much different from what I had in Helsinki. It is a happy feeling to drink it in the winter. The medium-rare beef is fried moderately, the meat is chewy and has no bloody smell. The feeling of the gravy bursting in the mouth the moment you bite it is simply wonderful. The most special thing is the reindeer meat sandwich. The super large sandwich feels a bit hard to eat. In the end, I just cut some bread and put some reindeer meat on it. I can only say that reindeer meat is really fishy. Even with the sauce, it is still a bit unacceptable. I ate a few symbolic bites and couldn’t eat it anymore. When ordering the reindeer meat sandwich, I also asked for a serving of roasted Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were roasted until slightly burnt and sprinkled with a little salt. The freshness of the roasted vegetables can just neutralize the greasy feeling brought by the meat. 💰Per capita consumption: This meal cost 74.5 euros in total. When checking out, the waiter also asked about the dining experience and satisfaction with the dishes. I never expected to have the most satisfying meal of the entire trip in such a small restaurant in Rovaniemi.
