1. Xinjiang meatball soup is divided into Siliu meatball soup and Erjiu meatball soup. Siliu and Erjiu are both place names belonging to Changji, Xinjiang, and are also the birthplace of meatball soup.

I saw this restaurant in the Zhaosu travel guide, so I came here for a quick meal. It is located in the middle of Tianma Food Street, and the car can be driven in and parked closer. The restaurant seems to only serve pilaf. When I went there, there was no lamb leg. The store owner said that in addition to lamb leg, the relatively tender ones are 
|lamb neck pilaf^ and |lamb spine pilaf^. The lamb neck is slightly thinner than the lamb spine, but it still tastes a bit dry to me. The regular pilaf that does not specify the part has different prices depending on the amount of meat. My family ordered |four pieces of meat pilaf^, which is enough. The overall taste is okay, which is about the same level as the several times I ate in northern Xinjiang. There is indeed a lot of room for improvement compared to southern Xinjiang.
The service is still quite warm and thoughtful.
