Lu's Ancient House is a salt merchant's house. You can visit it for free if you eat there, but you need to buy a ticket to visit the scenic spot alone. Compared with other salt merchant gardens, this ancient house probably limits the number of people because of the dining time. Going inside can quietly appreciate the beauty of the Jiangnan ancient house.

This restaurant has been selected as a Ctrip Gourmet Restaurant. It is very unique. It was converted from an ancient house in Yangzhou into a restaurant. In the process of improvement, the original architectural charm of the ancient house was preserved as much as possible without much change. It is really very unique to taste the authentic Yangzhou cuisine in such an environment.

Environment: It was great to eat at the salt merchant's house. The only drawback was that the air conditioning was not very good. Service: Responsive, average, nothing to praise. Taste: 200 yuan per person, no ordering, only set meals, must be booked in advance. There were no amazing dishes. Although there was puffer fish, it felt a bit fresh. The most satisfying morning tea I had during my trip to Yangzhou, absolutely no one else! I have tried Garden Teahouse, Lion House (a place that fools outsiders, super unpalatable), simple meals, Jiangjiaqiao, Zhao's Dumplings, but I was so thirsty the next morning because of the heavy seasoning. Only Lu's was the most satisfying, with a pleasant environment, exquisite morning tea, and friendly service. I hope it will stay the same. I finally regained the confidence to continue tasting Huaiyang cuisine!

At about six in the morning, I drove from the Xiyuan Hotel where I was staying to this restaurant on Kangshan Street for breakfast. This is the old house of the ancient salt merchant Lu Shaoxu. Now it has become a famous Huaiyang restaurant in Yangzhou City. It is a special enjoyment to taste the food in the quaint old house. It is said that Fuchun and Yechun have become tourists now. The breakfast in Lu's ancient house is now more popular and recommended. I arrived at the door at six fifty. The wall said that the breakfast starts at seven o'clock. When the time was almost up, the door was opened from the inside. The courtyard inside was very large. I was taken to a hall to sit and order dishes. The hall was very large. There were not many people at the beginning, but it was full at about seven thirty. I ordered some signature things, Wu Ding Bao, Feicui Shaomai, Lu's Meat Bun, Lu's Steamed Dumpling, Crab Roe Soup Bun, and black rice porridge, white porridge, a few side dishes, etc., and green tea. The dining environment and service are good, but the steaming is a little slow, and the soup buns feel a little oily. In addition, the steamed dumplings and meat buns are very delicious. After eating, you can walk around the yard to digest the food.

I came here from another place because of its reputation. It was around 11:40 when I arrived at the restaurant. I was told that there were no seats... So I had to get a number and queue for an hour... Don't take detours if you are traveling from another place. Remember to book in advance. Chasa Bridge Fish I personally think is delicious and not expensive, it is worth recommending. The rest of the dishes are for the elderly and children, not spicy and vegetarian. There are also a few dishes that are limited in quantity and cannot be uploaded, but overall it is okay. After eating, you can also walk around the ancient houses in the park and take a walk after dinner.

We went to the Lu's Ancient House early to have breakfast because they needed to make reservations for their family dinner and we didn't have enough time. Their hot dried bean curd was very delicious and my son had two servings. We had breakfast at several famous breakfast shops in Yangzhou and this one was the best. We can also visit the salt merchant's ancient house.

I waited for almost an hour before my number was called. The feeling is hard to describe. I walked through a long corridor and came to the beautiful garden. I walked along the path with the fragrance of osmanthus to the hall. The food was served quickly and the taste was light, which is more suitable for southerners. The waitress was very friendly.
