HUAI YANG FLOOR

There is a famous restaurant in Yancheng, Huaiyanglou, which seems to have many branches. In fact, Yancheng is not known for Huaiyang cuisine, but this restaurant is still quite popular locally. It was lunch time when we came, which was already late, but there were still many customers in the restaurant, and the restaurant was quite clean. I tasted a few dishes and I personally think they are OK, such as Huai'an soft pocket and Yangzhou lion head, which are well cooked and have the magic of Huaiyang cuisine. I also ordered a mutton pot, which tasted quite good, and I ate a few more bowls of mutton soup. The rest of the dishes were also OK.

The steamed dumplings, crab roe soup dumplings, and fish soup noodles at Huaiyanglou are must-order dishes, as well as dried shredded vegetables. There are really a lot of cold dishes here, which are placed on a small cart and you can take them yourself. The crystal pork elbow slices are also good.

I only come back for eight days a year. Holidays are so short. Every time I see you, I will see you less. My hometown is developing better and better. It will be even better in two or three years! "Fish soup noodles", a specialty of Dongtai, I always think about it. The soup is white and rich, the fish soup is delicious, and the noodles are very chewy. "Shrimp steamed dumplings", the juice is full, the shrimp can be seen and eaten; "Red bean soup", the red beans are soft, glutinous and sweet. "Shrimp roe siu mai", the shrimp roe and glutinous rice are perfectly integrated, with a hint of sweetness. "Big boiled dried shredded silk", the dried shredded silk is very tender, and it is very delicious with the addition of broad beans; "Freshly ground soy milk", very pure. The price is very reasonable and cost-effective, less than 30 per person!

The taste is very good. The portion of the dishes is very large. The dishes are served quickly. The soup dumplings, siu mai and fish soup are super delicious. We didn't order many other stir-fried dishes. The three of us ate more than 300 yuan. We didn't finish the basic dishes. We were very satisfied.
