Due to work during the National Day holiday, I wasn't able to leave Beijing for my much-anticipated long-distance trip. 😑 But staying at Wuling Mountain Residence near Beijing, experiencing the slower pace of mountain life and enjoying the hearty aroma of farmhouse cuisine, is truly blissful and relaxing. 💕 ✅ Egg Fried Rice: I ate it twice in a row! Not greasy, homely yet surprisingly flavorful! ✅ Pickled Cabbage and Pork Intestines: The pork intestines are perfectly prepared and go really well with rice 😋 ✅ Spring Water Tofu: The tofu has a rich bean flavor, a must-order every time I come here~ ✅ Farmhouse Vegetable Dumplings: The rustic aroma I used to enjoy back home as a child ✅ Wild Vegetable Dumplings: Large, handmade dumplings with a flavor you can only find in the mountains ✅ Wild Mushroom Rice Noodles: I took a risk this time, thinking it would be just one bowl, but it ended up being a huge bowl—enough for five or six of us~ ➡️ Also, the grilled rainbow trout, pork belly, and chicken wings are all delicious.
