There are many places to rent electric scooters near Qionghai Lake, which is very convenient. I rented one for two days and it cost me a total of 70 yuan. 🏝️Attractions: ❌Diaoyutai (Fishing Terrace): I went there following online guides, hoping to find the crooked-necked trees for photos, but I couldn't find those trees in the pictures after searching for a long time. It seems that section of the road was closed. ✅Yinlin Beach: The beach is beautiful. You can walk around to both sides. There's a section with fewer people, making it more tranquil. It also has crooked-necked trees, and the vegetation coverage is higher, making the lake water seem bluer. You can take many photos there.🤳🏻 🥢Food: 🍜Xiong's Beef and Lamb Offal Rice Noodles 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I personally really liked it. The noodles are thin, and the soup is a clear, flavorful broth. There are many condiments available, so you can make your own. I recommend trying the original flavor first, then adding condiments (mint, chili peppers, pickled cabbage) later. Highly recommended! 👍 🍲 Huili Chicken and Ham Shreds 🌟🌟🌟 The broth is chicken soup. Mine had chewy rice cakes added, very springy and delicious. It also included shredded chicken and ham. Personally, I thought it was okay, but slightly inferior to mutton rice noodles. 🥓 Small Fishing Village Specialty Tender Fish Slices 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Definitely worth trying. The fish slices and beef are delicious. It's about 70 RMB per person, which is quite good. 🥛 Liangshan Snow 🌟🌟🌟🌟 I initially thought it was yogurt, but it's actually a lactic acid bacteria drink, somewhat like Wahaha. Just got back from Xichang. These places are photogenic | Guide included | This is my second trip to Xichang. My first trip was during Spring Festival, and the traffic was incredibly crowded and the experience was average. This time, I was traveling during the off-season, and I made the trip from Chengdu, a rainy city, to Xichang to soak up some sunshine! 1️⃣ Torch Square | To capture this photo of pillars 2️⃣ & 3️⃣ Dashiban Ancient Village and Lingying Temple | Most people come here to take photos of the Yi people. Lingying Temple, with its over 400-year history, is particularly photogenic with its Hermès orange walls. 4️⃣ Diaoyutai | A great spot to watch the sunrise over Qionghai Lake. The wooden plank road leading to the lake is also incredibly photogenic. 5️⃣ Moonlight Town | A more established Qionghai accommodation and tourist destination. 6️⃣ Tingtao Valley | A newly built art town with predominantly white architecture. Recommended check-in spots include Zhongshufang, Zhong Art Museum, the rooftop of the youth hostel, the Sky Stairs, the glass plank road, the Valley Theater, and cafes. 7️⃣ Jinlin Beach | A great place to watch the sunset on the shores of Qionghai Lake, with a beach and coconut groves. 8️⃣ Jianchang Ancient City | The ancient city is stunning when lit up at night, but it's not very crowded during the day. 9️⃣ Small Fishing Village | BBQ Street: Besides enjoying the views of Qionghai Lake, the main attraction is the barbecue, offering excellent value.
