The environment is really great, just by the mountains and water. The coffee is also very good, and the latte art is good.

It is really pleasant to enjoy afternoon tea with a cup of coffee and a dessert.

This black swan is not the other black swan. At 15:00 in the afternoon, except for the red velvet cake, all other cakes were sold out! The chocolate was also sold out! I ordered a hand-brewed coffee and was told to wait for more than 40 minutes... Helplessly, I ordered a caramel macchiato. I stayed at the Qionghai Hotel and wanted to have a cup of coffee to take a break. There were crowds of people who bought a cup of coffee to check in and take photos. The hotel or the cafe let all the tourists in to expand profits. It was as lively as a market, some people were sleeping, some were doing homework, and more were gathering to check in with internet celebrities. The taste of the cake and coffee was very average, not worth the price. The Jiaolou Coffee in Chongqing is better, that's all.

I spent a few days at the Qionghai Hotel in Xichang, a truly idyllic retreat. The slow pace of life here was incredibly soothing! Their tomahawk steak is a perfect match for the Qionghai sunset. ▫️Guanhai Tea Restaurant: Be sure to try the beef congee with poached egg and the Cantonese shrimp dumplings. Freshly steamed to order, they're incredibly delicious. ▫️Black Swan Café: The afternoon tea set is stunningly beautiful; every photo is Instagram-worthy. 🚶‍♀️Secret Activities: ✔️In the morning, take a stroll along the hotel's private lakeside boardwalk and you might witness peacocks displaying their plumage. ✔️In the evening, enjoy steamed stone pot fish at the Yuoulou Chinese Restaurant and watch the sunset paint the lake red from the floor-to-ceiling windows. ✔️Attend the evening ethnic song and dance performance at the lakeside square and experience authentic Yi ethnic culture. 💡Useful Tips: 1. Remember to bring breadcrumbs; you can interact and take photos with the red-billed gulls by the lake. 2. The hotel offers free bicycles for cycling around the lake; we recommend going in the evening to avoid the sun. 3. Choose a room with a view of Qionghai Lake; even the bathtub has a view. 4. Remember to bring a windproof jacket if you come in winter, as it can be quite windy by the lake. This is the true essence of a relaxing vacation!
