Just got back from beachcombing in Weihai, let me share my honest impressions… 😍You absolutely must go beachcombing in Weihai!❌ But don't be fooled by the beachcombing photos online. This is a list of places I found after five beachcombing trips with friends in Weihai, and I'm sharing it with anyone planning a beachcombing trip in Weihai!🙋♂️ 🌊Beachcombing Locations: 📍Sunset Bay: Head west onto the beach, and you'll find so many colorful seashells—you can't possibly collect them all!😍 There are also little crabs and Patrick Star figures washed ashore. 📍Xiaoshidao (Little Stone Island): Navigate to Weihai Aviation Sports Camp. There's a gate on a bridge leading there. Lots of clams and moon clams! 📍Jiulongwan Park: This is the best place to dig for razor clams. Just point salt directly at their breathing holes and sprinkle it into the water. The clams will all come up one by one! Be sure to bring plenty of salt!⚠️ 📍Hailang Field Battle Base: If there's an entrance fee, walk a few meters ahead; there are other entrances. There are fishing boats on the left, and tons of starfish nearby—you can't collect them all!🥳 📍Haiyuan Park: After low tide, you can go into the water along the large stone steps at the park's edge. Lots of starfish and conches are clinging to the rocks. - ⚠️Tips: 📌Tide Time: Be sure to check the local tide table in advance and choose a time of low tide (it's recommended to arrive 1-2 hours before lowest tide). 📌Weather: Check the forecast in advance. Stay away from slippery reefs, undercurrents, or whirlpools, especially when with children; keep a close eye on them. 📌 Slip Prevention and Protection Wear non-slip rubber shoes or river wading shoes (avoid flip-flops) to prevent cuts from shells and rocks. Wear gloves (such as work gloves) when handling crabs, sea urchins, etc., and avoid turning over rocks with bare hands. - 🦀Weihai Food 1️⃣Chocolate Fisherman's Restaurant A must-try seafood restaurant in Weihai! Seafood is served fresh and steamed! They even catch live seafood directly when you order! Their sea cucumber rice is a must-order, so fresh! The sea cucumbers are in large chunks, crunchy and bursting with flavor, truly delicious! 2️⃣ Xianhua Restaurant: Open for many years, I highly recommend their braised pork trotter noodles!! So delicious!!! Even the mild version is quite spicy… I always order the sweet and sour pork, home-style cold dishes, and their signature stinky tofu. 3️⃣ Mh Zhenwei Rice Intestine Soup Rice: The milky white broth is rich and flavorful, with a subtle peppery aroma. One sip warms you up from head to toe. The rice intestines are very clean, soft, chewy, and not sticky. The portion is generous. 4️⃣ Bao Ge Skewers: This is a long-established restaurant in Weihai, cheap, clean, and with a wide variety of options. The fried intestines are a must-order! The fried chicken with bones is also delicious. The cabbage is cooked until soft and served with sesame sauce, so delicious! #WeihaiTravelGuide #WeihaiMustVisitAttractions #WeihaiFood #WhereToEatSeafoodInWeihai #WeihaiInstagrammableSpots
People in Weihai are so lucky!! 🥺 I've been there countless times and compiled a list of some truly great restaurants! Feel free to add more! 🔥Chocolate Fisherman's Restaurant I mainly order their sea cucumber rice and seafood hot pot! The shrimp is also good! Later, I ordered a stir-fried squid 🦑! The rice also has small toppings like scallops! It really suits my taste! 🔥Kim's Flavor This is a restaurant frequented by Koreans! I ran into three groups of Koreans! That already made it seem very authentic! The soy-marinated crab is Korean sweet and spicy! But it's a bit pricey! And there aren't many seats! 🔥Hyunhwa Restaurant I absolutely love the pig's trotters—they're so tender they practically fall off the bone! I also love the noodles—they're served dry! The pork is perfectly bouncy! The lingshi (a type of fried tofu) is soaked in broth and incredibly flavorful. 🔥Floating Coffee Located on Xinwei Road, a great place for a city walk ☕️! This is also a beautiful shop! A retro-style spot for afternoon tea! 🍰The Basque cheesecake isn't too sweet! 🔥Duf Lange They mainly serve European-style cakes! The cakes have an art-like feel! If there aren't many people, one cake is enough! The ingredients must be high-quality! Not too sweet! The presentation is also great! The taste is quite unique! 🔥Qiyu Canteen This seems to be a very popular Japanese restaurant locally! Delicious and beautifully presented meals! Especially their eel rice 🍱! Who discovered this place?! It reminds me of Crayon Shin-chan! The brown sugar rice cake is also good! 🔥Taomori Cuisine This is the kind of beautifully presented meal perfect for photos and dates! The roast chicken and steak 🥩 are beautifully presented with great color combinations! And they taste delicious too! The salad 🥗 and avocado sandwich 🥪 are also great! #WeihaiTravel #WeihaiFood #WeihaiTourism #WeihaiEatDrinkPlay #WeihaiSeasideShops #WeihaiTravelGuide #ASmallTownWorthVisitingForFood #MustEatInWeihai #RepeatedFood #HiddenGemsLovedByLocals #WeihaiTravel #CheckIn #Weihai #CoffeeShop #WeihaiTravelGuide #WeihaiFood #LocalFood #AfternoonTeaForAestheticFavourites #WeihaiTravelGuide #WeihaiTravel
