筱恣的景致Mao Laotai's stinky tofu is well-known in Wuzhen, and many tourists come here to eat. There are only two kinds of food in the store, stinky tofu and crispy stinky tofu, with hot sauce and sweet sauce to choose from, and stinky tofu can be mixed. The food in this store can only be eaten in the restaurant. There is really nothing special about the tofu itself. The taste is just like the taste of a roadside stall, but the environment is good. Looking at the small bridges and flowing water outside the window, the feeling of eating is different!

In the Xizha scenic area, the location is very good, and there are many people coming and going. I passed by and felt that it smelled so good, so I bought one. Unfortunately, I didn't remember to take a photo after eating it. It is different from the stinky tofu we have eaten before. It is wrapped in a layer of tofu skin.
There were too many people in line, but the scenery was beautiful. Eating stinky tofu while watching the small bridge and flowing water outside the window was very pleasant.
I often eat Hunan-style stinky tofu, and today in Wuzhen, I was surprised to find an old lady making stinky tofu there, so I had to try it. After paying, the owner started frying it fresh, and the aroma was incredibly enticing! It tasted amazing, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Time to dig in!
Wuzhen's local snacks are also unique and flavorful; the street food stalls in the alleys always leave a lasting impression. Grandma Mao's stinky tofu is one such example. Perhaps this gives you another reason to visit Wuzhen, along with Mao Dun's former residence and the Mu Xin Art Museum.
