Service: After placing an order, the waiter will bring the finished wontons to the table. We wanted to eat other snacks and wanted to share a bowl of wontons. We found the waiter and asked me to go to the disinfection cabinet to get a small bowl. Now is the off-season for tourism, the waiter is not very busy, and the service is generally average. Whether to check in for this bowl of wontons is a matter of opinion. I personally recommend that you can come in and taste it when you pass by Wuzhen when you see not many people. After a stroll, I still felt a craving for wontons, so I returned to Wu Ma Wonton. It was a little less crowded this time. I ordered wild vegetable vegetarian wontons and large three-fresh wontons. The vegetarian version was 15 yuan, the three-fresh version 20 yuan. The shop wasn't large, but it was practically full. After paying, I got a number and waited for my table. I looked out the window, which was covered in greenery, and could see boats passing by on the water. The wonton shop is suspended over the water, creating a beautiful view. The food wasn't served quickly, perhaps because there were so many people. Although there were only 10 wontons per portion, they were large, and one bowl was more than enough to fill everyone up. The wild vegetable version was mainly shepherd's purse, with a few other ingredients, and was very light and refreshing. The three-fresh version, with shrimp, crab, and other ingredients, wasn't as light as the wild vegetable version, but it was generously prepared. I also had rose vinegar here which I had never tasted before.
The flavors are homely, and the ingredients are clearly marked on the wall. There are three types of wontons, but when I went that evening, the wild vegetable wontons were gone, leaving only the meat and three-fresh fillings. I ordered the three-fresh filling, and the bamboo shoots were clearly visible, but the rest were less clear.
