She said that she bought sweet-scented osmanthus cake and spring onion stew two years ago. The former cost 5 yuan and the latter 3 yuan. She said that it would be unfair if the price increased. Then she went to see that the price had not increased, so we bought it. After eating, she said that it still tasted the same... Poor me, the food I just stuffed in my mouth almost spit out because of laughing...

Misty Jiangnan, fleeting time Scallion bun stew ✨ Located in the Xizha Scenic Area of Wuzhen, this is a classic snack from Jiangsu and Zhejiang. It costs 3 yuan per portion and is eaten wrapped in glutinous rice paper. The skin is crispy, and the inside is filled with fried dough sticks. The sauce is salty and slightly sweet, but the taste is pretty ordinary, with no special features.
Unlock new ways to enjoy Wuzhen with your kids! No crowds, less stress for moms, and tons of family memories! ✨ Follow our guide for easy daily fun, and your social media will be flooded with photos! 👇 🌿Must-Visit Family Route (Shortcut): Wuzhen Dyehouse → Wuzhen Post Office → Tea Market Street → Mu Xin Art Museum → Bridge in Bridge Teahouse → Water Theater → Ruyi Workshop Start by visiting the dyehouse and post office, which your kids will love, then relax at the art museum for a peaceful experience. The pace is perfect! ✨Family Highlights 💙Wuzhen Dyehouse The blue dyed fabrics sway in the breeze, and your kids will be immersed in a "blue ocean"! Try a simple tie-dyeing experience with your child. Choose a small T-shirt or handkerchief, and let them feel a great sense of accomplishment. For family photos, have your child stand in the middle of the dyed fabric, and parents can take pictures from the side for a dynamic effect. 🏮Wuzhen Post Office The century-old post office is perfect for a family outing to experience a sense of ritual! Buy a Wuzhen-themed postcard, teach your child to write their name and the date, and mail it home. The red lanterns and stone-paved streets at the entrance are perfect for photos. Hold your child next to the mailbox and snap a heartwarming picture. 🍵Tea Market Street After a long walk, find a small shop on Tea Market Street to sit and relax! Order some osmanthus cake and chrysanthemum tea, and let your child watch the rowing boats and pedestrians on the street. Street vendors sell handmade toys; buy a bamboo dragonfly for 10 RMB—it can keep your child entertained for an afternoon. 🎹Mu Xin Art Museum The white building is incredibly stylish. Take your child to watch the piano performance in the bookstore. When the afternoon sun is shining, the light and shadows fall through the windows onto the ground—it's fun to let your child step on the "light spots." (Tickets are 20 RMB; if your child can't sit still, taking photos outside the museum is also very photogenic.) 🌟Water Theater The water show starting at 7:00 PM is a must-see! The combination of lights, water screen, and music will keep your kids glued to the screen! Occasionally, bubbles will float by, perfect for chasing with your little ones – every snapshot is a dynamic family masterpiece. Best part? It's free! Just bring a small mat and you can sit on the shore – super relaxing! 🚣A must-try for nighttime experiences ▫️Rowing boat: 60 RMB/person (half price for children 1.2-1.4 meters tall) From Ruyifang Wharf to Andufang Wharf, 15-25 minutes. A romantic ride on a rowing boat at night! The lanterns on both banks were reflected in the water, and the child whispered, "It looks like stars have fallen into the water!" The boatman slowed down so the child could look closely at the little fish in the water—a wonderful parent-child activity! 🌃 🍜 Family Foodie List ▪️Scallion Pancakes: Break fried dough sticks into small pieces and stuff them into the pancake for the child to eat. They're not too hot and very fragrant. ▪️Radish Pancakes: 3 RMB each. Freshly made, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Let the child cool them down before eating; they can easily eat two at a time. ▪️Ding Sheng Gao (a type of rice cake): The red bean filling is super smooth and creamy. Cut into small pieces, the child can eat them one bite at a time without choking. ▪️Wuzhen Tofu Pudding: Available in both sweet and savory flavors. Choose a savory option, add a little dried shrimp and cilantro for a nutritious and delicious treat. 🏡Accommodation Guide (Top-Tier Luxury Wilderness Hotel) Recommended: "Wuzhen Wangjinli Boutique Hotel," located within the Xizha Scenic Area, a 5-minute walk from the core attractions. Chinese courtyard style, offering family suites with small tents and toys in the rooms—kids will love it from the moment they enter. The hotel has its own dock, allowing you to directly take a rowboat out, and you can even feed the fish in the courtyard in the morning. (Reasonable price, includes breakfast for two, and hotel guests don't have to queue to enter Xizha—super convenient!) 💡Family-Friendly Tips ❶ Dress your child in loose clothing! Convenient for activities and great for photos, remember to bring a light jacket as it can get a bit chilly in the evening. ❷ Wuzhen West Gate ticket: 150 yuan. Children under 1.2 meters tall are free. Book tickets online in advance to avoid queuing. ❸ For the rowing boat tour, choose around 7 pm. The lighting is perfect—not too sunny, you can enjoy the night view, and your child won't get tired. ❹ Radish cakes on Tea Market Street go on sale after 3 pm. If your child gets hungry, have a bowl of wontons first. When visiting Wuzhen with your child, don't rush to check off every attraction. The most precious thing is to let your child slowly experience the slow-paced life of this water town. #LayingDownKidTravelTips

Who knows 😭 Just got back from Wuzhen, and the aftereffects are still strong. Bluestone slabs 🍃Rowing boats ⛵️Floating market 🥣 I'm truly moved by the gentle beauty of Jiangnan's water towns... Avoid the crowds and still capture all the best of the scenery. Students/lazy kids, just copy homework 👇 🚗Transportation: 1⃣❌️Take the high-speed rail to Tongxiang Station. From there, take bus K282, which takes about an hour to Wuzhen Bus Station. From there, transfer to bus K350 directly to the Xizha Scenic Area. The entire journey is 30 yuan, which saves money but not time, so I wouldn't recommend it. 2⃣Take a bus from Hangzhou East Station or Wulin Gate directly to the Wuzhen Xizha Tourist Center. This saves time and effort. 45 yuan 3⃣ Self-drive, Xizha Visitor Center Parking Lot 1, across from the Visitor Center 🌿 Must-see Route (no detours) Mu Xin Art Museum → Grass and Wood Dyeing Workshop → Wuzhen Post Office → Tea Market Street → Qiaoliqiao Teahouse → Water Theater → Ruyifang You can walk the entire route, so feel free to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea and the view when you're tired~ ✨ Highlights 🎹Mu Xin Art Museum The romantic feeling of "travel was slow in the old days" is embodied here! The architectural light and shadows are absolutely stunning. 📸Photo taken at 3 pm when the sun was setting. If you're lucky, you might catch an impromptu performance at the Piano Bookstore. (Tickets are 20 yuan. Mu Xin fans should definitely go for it; just take a photo at the entrance.) 💕Grass and Wood Dyeing Workshop: The image of the blue dyed cloth fluttering in the wind is absolutely stunning! Light-colored clothing will make your photos stand out. You can spend money to try tie-dyeing small items, which makes for a truly meaningful souvenir. 🏮Wuzhen Post Office You absolutely must send a postcard from this century-old post office! Writing to your future self feels so ceremonial. The cobblestone pavement and red lanterns at the entrance create a breathtaking Jiangnan atmosphere in every photo. 🫖Qiaoliqiao Teahouse: A great value for money! For those who don't want to spend a fortune, you can take panoramic photos of the teahouse downstairs by the river (the angle is also stunning!). For an immersive experience, head upstairs for 58r for tea and a view. When it's crowded, you'll need to queue. Be sure to take photos of the circular Wuzhen Wall nearby. 🖼️ 🌟Water Theater Highly recommend the water show from dusk to night! Runs from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The lights reflected on the water resemble a shattered galaxy. 🌌The water curtain is incredibly stunning, and best of all, it's free. Bubbles trigger randomly, allowing you to experience a magical bubble show. 🚣 Must-try night tours: ▫️ Rowboat, 60r/person Ruyifang Pier → Andufang Pier, 15-25 minutes Exploring Wuzhen at night is like stepping into an ink painting! The ripples of the boat across the water, paired with the lanterns on both sides, are breathtakingly beautiful. 🌃 🍜A must-try for foodies ▪️ Scallion Buns with a crispy crust, filled with fried dough sticks, and a fragrant sweet noodle sauce. ▪️ Shredded Radish Pancakes: 3r each, limited to 5! Perfect when they're piping hot right out of the pan. ▪️ Dingsheng Cake: Glutinous and delicious! The red bean filling is sweet but not greasy. ▪️ Sishui Nianhua Winery: A celebrity-themed spot, enjoy a drink and the night view (a bit pricey at 80+ per person, but worth the atmosphere). 💕 Tips ❶ Wear comfortable shoes! The cobblestones are a bit rough on your feet. ❷ Remember, the ticket price for Wuzhen West Gate is 150 yuan, with student tickets half price. ❸ I recommend taking the rowboat at night; the lights are 10 times more beautiful than during the day. ❹ The shredded radish pancakes are available after 3 PM, so don't miss out! Wuzhen's romance is hidden in every bridge and alley. Take your time strolling and taking photos to truly experience the gentle charm of this water town.
