139***30We planned to eat there the night before, but when we got there, we found that they didn't make guagua at night, only malatang, so we decided to come for breakfast the next morning. We ordered cold noodles, guagua, yellow steamed bun, lard box, almond tea, and boiled egg soup. We basically ordered everything on the menu, haha. The guagua here is indeed much better than the stalls in the Maijishan Grottoes Scenic Area yesterday. It is worthy of being a time-honored brand. The locals told us to break the guagua into small pieces and mix it with the sauce thoroughly, which is really more flavorful. The sauce for cold noodles is the same as that for guagua, except that it is a little spicy, and the taste is good. I don't like cakes, so I took a bite to try it. I don't like almond tea either, so I drank a sip. My friend finished the almond tea and lard box. I couldn't eat the yellow steamed bun in the end, so I packed it up.

It's a relatively small store on the pedestrian street. I went there late, and the boss said that the delicious food was only for breakfast, so I went there in vain. The only thing I could order at night was skewers, which tasted good and were cheap. I still had to get up early.
In addition to appreciating the Maijishan Grottoes, one of the four major grottoes, there are many food streets and food cities in the city, but the authentic taste is generally in places known as "fly restaurants"! Tianshui is the birthplace of the pre-Qin Dynasty. The Qin people entered the pass from here, so that the local food tastes and various delicacies in Tianshui are similar, but there are still some unique delicacies, such as today's protagonist "Guagua", which is not available in the pass. It may be that the memory has been lost or evolved into other forms! Today, let's talk about this Guagua. It is made of coarse grains, boiled in water, added with coarse grain powder many times, and finally stirred into a solidified transparent food that is particularly similar to jelly! But the color is brown, mixed with black cores! It is said that the solid form is then destroyed by hand and becomes a crystalline substance, in order to allow the secret red oil chili to be well mixed, and the taste is fully displayed. Because the taste is good, people "Guagua" scream, so it is named! One of the favorite foods of Tianshui people! Mainly female customers, it is said to have the effect of beauty and weight loss!
There are two Changji Guagua restaurants. The main store is in Yusheng Lane. The branch store is on the pedestrian street. I think it’s better to go to the main store. A must-go when you come to Tianshui. Go early in the morning. Once they’re sold out, they’re gone. After eating, you can walk west along Jiefang Road to the Fuxi Temple, which is not far away.
It is always the hometown that I miss the most and the taste that I want to eat the most.
It is said to be a specialty snack here. It tastes good. It is neither noodles nor rice noodles. It is very delicious. You must try it.
