In the Lu Xun Former Residence Scenic Area in Shaoxing, you can stroll around and enjoy the cultural customs and eat local snacks. The Old Shaoxing Stinky Tofu is located on the commercial street of the scenic area. It is run by two local grandmothers. They fry and sell it on the spot, and it tastes good.
After walking past the Lu Xun Memorial Hall and Sanwei Bookstore, I saw the old Shaoxing stinky tofu. Lu Xun Middle Road is still very authentic, with both fennel beans and stinky tofu. The stinky tofu here is cut into small pieces, fried until golden and topped with your favorite flavors. It is much more delicious than the Changsha stinky tofu.
In the middle of the road where Lu Xun's hometown is located in Shaoxing, there is a big sign that reads "Old Shaoxing Stinky Tofu". It is very popular and smells very strong. It is my son's favorite. I bought fried stinky tofu and fried spring rolls, and the taste is really good. The stinky tofu stall by the river outside the store also sells stinky tofu, which is freshly fried and made. I couldn't help but buy another one, and the taste is no less good.
