The Typhoon Shelter Prawns at Lizhouji are full of roe, and the shrimp meat is chewy and firm. The blanched Dongshan Big Rolls also have roe in them, and they are extremely sweet when dipped in sauce. It is definitely worth a try.

🇳National Day, October 5th-8th, Quanzhou City Walk ||| #Travel Tracks# 💕Day 1: Driving from Dongguan at 9 AM, we arrived in Quanzhou around 4 PM. 🕠 | 🏨Check-in: Quanzhou Hotel (389 Dongjie, Licheng District, Quanzhou City) The location is amazing! Scenic spots are just outside your doorstep~ After checking in, we immediately started exploring the ancient city. 📸 We wanted to have the incredibly popular "Zhang Lin Ashan Ginger Duck" for dinner, but the lines were over 3 hours long. 😱We quickly moved on to "Lizhou Ji"! To our surprise, it was surprisingly delicious! It saved us from starving. 👏 🔥Day 2: Slept until we woke naturally and headed straight to 📍Wang Yongli Shacha Hotpot (Nanjun Road, Licheng District, Quanzhou City). The shacha hotpot base was rich and fragrant without being greasy! Absolutely amazing!!! Love it! 💕 In the afternoon, we visited the beautiful Luojia Temple (Yongning Town, Shishi City, Quanzhou City). We rode an electric scooter around the sea for a super comfortable ride~ 🌟Tips: 1️⃣ There are many travel photographers inside the temple (wear vests). 2️⃣ At low tide, take your kids to the beach to pick up crabs! 🦀 PS: If you want to take photos, I recommend wearing a light-colored long skirt! It's absolutely stunning! 🌊Day 3: Checked out the Instagram-famous spot 📍Juruo Lighthouse Cafe (Xiangzhi Town, Shishi City, Quanzhou City). Although it's a man-made attraction, it's truly stunning! 💙 Recommended wearing blue or white! The sea and sky blended beautifully. 📸 We returned in the afternoon, stopping by for a refreshing hot spring soak in 📍Heyuan. ♨️ 🚗Day 4: Join the return trip! Three-day summary: ✔️Ginger Duck ✔️Shacha Hotpot ✔️Tong'an Chicken Legs ✔️Hujian/Mei Chaofeng/Peanut Soup Quanzhou is absolutely delicious! Be sure to order the internet-famous fried egg! Soaked in the shacha sauce, it's absolutely delicious! 🎈Lizhouji · Quanzhou Cuisine - West Street Branch Who knows? Lizhouji's Minnan Boiled Three Fresh Vegetables are simply legendary! The squid is crispy and tender, the clams are sweet, and 🛎 even the soup is so delicious you can drink it all up! It's perfect with rice! 🎈Taro Cake Taro cakes are my absolute favorite! The outer layer is fried to a golden and crispy texture, while the taro inside is soft and sweet. It's the perfect balance of salty and sweet, and every bite is incredibly satisfying! 🎈Cai Kueh (Radish Cake) Quanzhou cai kueh is truly the soul of the night market. This travel guide by a tech guy is absolutely amazing! 💯 I pulled three all-nighters to put together this Quanzhou map! 📚 Even the walking time between each attraction is clearly calculated! 🛎 I'm so thankful for this detail-oriented guy! 🔖 - 📌Urban Transportation 📝Public Transportation Accessible to all major areas in the city, with bus routes also connecting surrounding cities and counties like Taishang, Shishi, Jinjiang, Hui'an, and Nan'an. 📝Little White Cars Within the Quanzhou Old Town area, hailing a stop is a breeze! 🙋‍♀️ These little gray cars ply community roads, connecting residential areas to bus stops on major thoroughfares. 📝Electric Bikes Many Quanzhou residents enjoy riding electric bikes! They're compact and flexible, easy to navigate, and can easily navigate the streets and alleys. - 🧚🏻‍♀️Zhanhua Guide Photo spots in Xiapu Village include: 🌸The beach (outside the village, quite a distance to walk, not recommended, especially in bad weather. ⛅️ photos will be gray and look terrible) 🌸Oyster shell houses🐚 (a Quanzhou specialty, definitely take a few photos) 🌸Mazu Temple (very local🌈) 🌸Red door with couplets (great for photos in front of it, like Zhao Liying💃) 🌸Old banyan tree🌳 (background for a peaceful and tranquil time) - 🏖Quanzhou Food Recommendations 💌Carp Youqian Fried Seafood Hot Pot Carp Youqian is the ultimate in fried seafood hot pot! My partner and I ordered live shrimp and giant oysters👏. We fried the seafood first, then cooked pumpkin porridge. After the porridge, we dined on the vegetables. All the classic seafood dishes were included, and every bite was a hit! 💌Xiangzai Ahua Shacha Hotpot I'm completely blown away by their shacha hotpot! 😻 The abalone and shrimp balls are generously diced with abalone, and the fresh-cut beef is so tender and fresh. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't like hotpot, loved it! 💌Lizhouji·Quanzhou Cuisine - West Street Branch You can't go wrong with Lizhouji on West Street! The pan-fried Minnan oysters are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. ☘️ Each oyster is plump. Pair it with a bowl of seafood tofu stew, soaked in juicy flavors—you'll want to lick the spoon! 💌Nianxian Soup Every time I come to Quanzhou, I go for this nianxian soup. 🌈 The smooth noodles swirl in the delicious broth, warming both the heart and the stomach. With so many toppings, you can add any oyster or shrimp and it's delicious! 💌Peanut Soup Quanzhou peanut soup is truly amazing. The peanuts are stewed to a soft, melt-in-your-mouth consistency, and the sweet broth is incredibly refreshing! 💥 A bowl after a meal is incredibly comforting! !

This truly embodies Quanzhou's unique cultural atmosphere! 📍Address: No. 414, West Street, Licheng District, Quanzhou 🍗 I highly recommend these special dishes: ✔️ Hairpin Chicken Wings - Quanzhou Exclusive‼ ️ This is truly a unique delicacy you won't find anywhere else. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and with a subtle floral fragrance. ✔️ Freshly Potted Ginger Duck - A divine delicacy!! The whole duck simmers in the clay pot. The meat is tender and juicy, with a rich ginger aroma. You'll be hooked! 😍 ✔️ Hongse Baked Chicken Feet - Perfect with rice!
