On the busiest street in the ancient city, probably close to the center, the store is very conspicuous. The boss is very down-to-earth, recommending all special dishes, and will not let you order too much, fearing that you can't finish it 😄 Recommend beef hot pot (beef with vegetables, moderate saltiness, meat is piece by piece, the quantity is very sufficient!) Lamb biscuits (thin layers of skin with delicious meat filling, it's really delicious!) Fragrant vinegar eggs (better than expected, a little bit of vinegar taste, fragrant and greasy) Local specialty oil tea (with a lot of small ingredients, fragrant, a big bowl is not enough). Let's talk about the service: it's rare that there are so many people during the National Day holiday, the boss and the waiter are very patient, the waiter boss is also very polite, the service is very good, will help add tea at any time, on call, serve our whole family embarrassed, the little waiter shyly said it is what he should do 👍 Finally, I bought the oil tea fried by the store before leaving, it's really delicious!
The copper hotpot was very solid, I was full, very solid, and tasted good. The service was very good, attentive and enthusiastic, and they gave us oil tea, which was very delicious. We drank it all. The environment was clean and tidy, and it also had the atmosphere of an ancient city. Good reviews!
The food is delicious, clean and tidy, the service is excellent and the price is affordable.
A retro-style long travel guide for the fragmented information age is here! The must-see ancient architecture highlights of Shanxi are all here! Because online itineraries are all the same, independent travel always requires some customization and trial and error. So, I'm documenting my 6-day trek through Shanxi with my camera, from the Yungang Grottoes to Hukou Waterfall. [WorldMap] Detailed information can be found at the end of the article. Here's a brief summary: 🚩Day 1: Classic Datong Check-ins ▫Yungang Grottoes A stunning Northern Wei Dynasty royal grotto, a classic not to be missed! Remember to bring a sun hat, the open areas are extremely sunny. 🚩Day 2: Hire a car to save energy, walk the long distances ▸Hengshan Mountain - Hanging Temple It's recommended to climb Hengshan Mountain first before visiting the Hanging Temple to save energy. The Hanging Temple has visitor limits, so go early! ▸Yuanjue Temple Brick Pagoda → Yong'an Temple → Confucian Temple Three free, less-visited attractions, a paradise for ancient architecture enthusiasts. ▸Yingxian Wooden Pagoda (Entry before 5:30 PM) The light at dusk is the most beautiful for photographing the wooden pagoda! Remember to circle the pagoda three times for blessings. 🚩Day 3: Pingyao Leisurely Stroll Take your time exploring the ancient city, visiting attractions like Rishengchang and the County Government Office. We recommend the Pingyao beef hot pot at Yaogongguan. Our guesthouse is located in a traditional courtyard within the ancient city. You can also take some photos as a young lady, mistress, or gentleman. 🚩Day 4: From the Roaring Yellow River to the Breathtaking Suspended Sculptures, a Hassle-Free Tour ▸Hukou Waterfall Check the weather forecast beforehand! The spectacular yellow waterfall can only be seen when the water volume is high. It's generally more spectacular in summer. ▸Xiaoxitian The pinnacle of Ming Dynasty suspended sculpture art, the dim lighting is incredibly impressive. 🚩Day 5: Taiyuan City Walk The Shanxi Museum's must-see Jinhou Bird Zun, and enjoy a variety of Shanxi snacks on Zhonglou Street until you're stuffed! 🚩Day 6: Last Day ▸The Three Wonders of Jinci Temple: Song Dynasty Lady Statues, the Thousand-Year-Old Zhou Cypress, and the Nanlao Spring – all are essential. ▸Coal Museum: The underground simulated mine experience is unique and suitable for families with children. ▸Buy some local specialties and prepare to go home.
