Cang QiaoMian Jie

A very popular local snack bar, with a long queue all year round. The dining environment is average, and there is no service. A bowl of mixed noodles costs 6 yuan, and the portion is quite large. The noodle soup is the signature dish, which is indeed very tender and tastes good. The business hours are relatively short, so you have to choose the right time to come.

Cangqiao Noodles is one of the most famous restaurants in Ningbo. It is located on Hutong Street in Haishu District, Ningbo, near Gulou Pedestrian Street. The main dishes of Cangqiao Noodles are beef noodles, which taste good.

The first two pictures are a set meal for 28 yuan, and the third one is 35 yuan. There are 4 bean curd sheets in each set. The taste is just so-so, quite authentic and very filling. But overall, the taste of Ningbo is a little bit heavy.

I asked a local foodie friend in Ningbo to accompany me. We ate at many restaurants, big and small. I took some time off on the weekend and went out to eat at noon. The first stop was a great one, the most popular old shop for eating noodle knots in Ningbo, and the No.1 in the hearts of many local foodies! My friend said that there was always a long queue whenever I came. Today, I queued for 20 minutes when I visited it at noon. There are about 2,000 noodle knots every day, which are sold out. I ordered the standard noodle knot soup with goose intestines and goose blood + fried tofu and scallion oil noodles. The noodle knots are softer than the other one, and they are melt-in-the-mouth. The meat filling is more oily and delicious. I ate two in one go! I prefer the goose intestines and goose blood from the other one. I probably prefer the crispy taste of goose intestines. It tastes good with some homemade chili paste. I was sweating and very satisfied. I warned myself that this meal was just an appetizer, leaving half of my appetite to visit my friend’s favorite restaurant.

It is very close to the Nanyuan Hotel where I stayed. I arrived at the restaurant around 11:00 and waited in line for about 20 minutes. I ordered a bowl of mixed noodles and a bowl of blood soup. The mixed noodles tasted average. I personally think they were not as good as the mixed noodles of Xiamen Laosong Dumplings. The noodles were delicious and tender. My husband ordered a bowl of beef offal noodles. The taste was okay. The environment was not good. They were still using honeycomb coal. The hygiene needs to be improved.
