The waitresses were incredibly enthusiastic, serving us rice and offering complimentary samples of local specialties: rose wine, plum wine, butter tea, rose tea, and Paoluda (a type of herbal tea). They brought each item patiently. The service was truly exceptional. As a tourist from out of town, I highly recommend it!

The first thing I did upon arriving in Lijiang was to try Yunnan cuisine at Dianxi Prince Restaurant. After a three-hour drive through traffic to the Old Town, I sampled the exquisite dishes: rose yogurt, Lijiang Yunnan-Myanmar specialties, Yunnan hand-grabbed rice, savory broth, and crispy nuts. It was truly a worthwhile trip! Highly recommended!!! 👀👀

This restaurant is near the hotel where we stayed. It is quite popular. We had our last meal in Lijiang here! After visiting Mufu in the morning, we ate a bait block and then came to the restaurant for dinner. We only ordered two dishes. The black-bone chicken is sour and spicy, and the side dishes are bamboo shoots and onions. The onion tastes a bit like sour radish. I couldn’t taste it at first, haha. The copper pot snow mountain fish is tender and smooth, sour and spicy, and goes well with rice. The waiter also brought us butter tea. It was the first time I drank butter tea. At first, I thought I would not be able to adapt to it. After taking a sip, I found that it was really delicious. I will order it myself in the future. The environment is great and the service is also great.

The Prince of Western Yunnan - Dreaming back to Lijiang, inheriting the taste of a hundred years, is such a restaurant, pursuing not only the deliciousness of Lijiang, but also the long-standing legend of this ancient city. The bamboo shoot chicken of the Haang and Deang ethnic groups is a national specialty, a famous bamboo shoot chicken, the bamboo shoot fragrance penetrates into the sweet chicken fiber, rich taste, juicy and flavorful. The Yi ethnic group braised black goat, the local black goat raised in the wild, the meat is firm and firm, without a trace of excess fat, removing the smell of sheep, full of chewiness, the more you eat, the more delicious it is! The crispy black tofu is an absolute must-try!!! It's so delicious! The soybean flavor is incredibly rich, and the outside is crispy and fragrant from frying, yet not greasy. The crispy crust soaks up the sauce, and when you bite into it, the inside is a tender, soft, bursting tofu pudding. The tofu is made using a unique fermentation method from Jianshui, Yunnan, paired with healthier and more flavorful black beans—it's truly special! The waitresses were also incredibly gentle and attentive, constantly checking on our dining experience. Thumbs up! 👍
