After three trips to Jingdezhen, I finally put together this guide! Food and accommodations are all covered! Delicious, affordable, and comfortable! 🍜 Food Guide 1⃣️YAYA Global Bakery The breads are so varied, beautifully presented, and delicious, with generous amounts of ingredients. The Fukuoka Durian Salt-grilled Bread is incredibly sweet and savory. The shop is so large that the plates can't even hold it all, so I grabbed two big bags to take away! 2⃣️Auntie Luo's Private Kitchen I found this private kitchen near my B&B, and I was surprised by how delicious it was. The menu is diverse and delicious. The signature spare ribs are fragrant and generous, and the pig's trotters are incredibly tender. I always go there for dinner. 3⃣️Duye (Xishan Lake Branch) A restaurant with a stunning setting and a high production rate, perfect for checking in with my friends. The dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. The curry burger rice with a soft-boiled egg is a real treat for curry lovers. The portions are generous! 4⃣️A-po Cold Noodles (Museum Branch) They offer both cold noodles and mixed noodles, but I highly recommend the cold noodles, which are smooth, refreshing, and loaded with toppings. For Jingdezhen specialties, this is the place to go; they have a wide variety and great flavors. 5⃣️Old House Taste They specialize in local dishes. The braised chicken feet with soybeans are boneless and the soybeans are flavorful. For those who can't handle spicy food, the braised chicken with mushrooms is also delicious. The braised pork intestines with pickled black vegetables are clean and chewy, perfect with rice! 6⃣️The park's first steamed bun shop This bun shop is open until the wee hours, and there's always a line of locals waiting. The buns are large and juicy, and the chive filling is incredibly delicious. 7⃣️ Honest Youtiao Shop Jingdezhen's specialty fried dough sticks wrapped in glutinous rice cakes are crispy, the glutinous rice cakes are soft, and they're sprinkled with sesame seeds and sugar. This carbohydrate combo makes a fantastic dessert after a meal. This ten-year-old shop uses premium soybean oil, so you can be assured of your taste. 8⃣️ Authentic Cantonese Rice Noodle Rolls (Liu Ji) I had super authentic Cantonese rice noodle rolls in Jingdezhen. The wrapper is very thin, just like what you'd find in Guangdong. A good one in the morning is a great way to try it without having to "go to Guangdong." 🏨 Check out these hotels for accommodations! 1⃣️ Houcun Xiaoye B&B The room has a large projector, so I watched it with my bestie until late at night. The smart toilet and large bathtub are a real treat. The single-family villa is well-insulated and the environment is cozy, like being in your own yard. 2⃣️ Sanbao Hefu B&B The cozy, home-like stay is beautiful, with a retro feel and a great environment. The owner of the B&B is very helpful, and the property has many ceramic decorations, creating a rich artistic atmosphere. The price is also very reasonable.
