The last lunch of the trip to Jinan, I originally wanted to eat at a specialty restaurant around Daming Lake, but it was really crowded, and I had to take a train in the afternoon, so it was not worth waiting. There is also a restaurant on the second floor, and one of the older sisters was very enthusiastic to guide the guests to their restaurant. I saw that although there were many people in the restaurant, it was not full yet, and I thought that the dishes would be served quickly. I ordered the dishes early, but the seats were full later. The dishes of the tables that had been turned over were served, but the dishes of our table were not yet served. Alas! The management is chaotic. I went to urge them several times and they said yes, but they just didn't come! Finally, they all came together. I won't comment on the taste. There are some problems with this management and operation model, and it is difficult to retain repeat customers.

When you come to Jinan, you must try Shandong cuisine, one of the eight major cuisines. The ranking of Shandong restaurants in Jinan is almost dominated by a chain of Shandong restaurants, so I turned to find some homely Shandong restaurants. After tasting, I can only say that I was very disappointed! In order to prevent everyone from coming with expectations and returning disappointed, I wrote this review! [Nine-turn large intestine] It is said to be the signature dish of Shandong cuisine, so I ordered one to try, 68 yuan per serving. When the dish was served, I thought the appearance was still very good. I picked up a piece and tasted it. The taste was too sweet. I almost thought I was eating local cuisine in Shanghai! Apart from sweetness, I can't think of any impression of this dish. [Fried double crisp] This dish costs 98 yuan per serving. When I asked the waiter why it was so expensive, the waiter told me that it was because the ingredients were precious. Later, I checked and found that the ingredients of this dish are mainly chicken gizzards and squid, but this dish requires a high level of cooking skills, and I can only comfort myself with this reason why this dish is expensive. This dish was the most disappointing one in this meal. The whole dish tasted very bland. The squid and water chestnuts were both soft and not crispy at all. I was very disappointed. [Boiled Chinese kale] I never expected that the most satisfying dish of this meal would be a vegetarian dish. The Chinese kale was blanched just right, and the scallions were placed and drizzled with hot oil. The scallion fragrance was fully stimulated and the taste was very good. Although this restaurant is positioned as a home-style restaurant, the price of this meal was not cheap. Two people ate more than 200 yuan. Moreover, the taste of this restaurant made me wonder if I could not accept the taste of Shandong cuisine, so I never tried Shandong cuisine again in the three days in Jinan. I hope that the next time I have the opportunity to try Shandong cuisine, I can change my view of Shandong cuisine.
