My sister and I are both durian lovers. When we saw Yixu was having an all-you-can-eat durian buffet, we decided to make it a special treat! We came just for the durian!

The Gaoxin Wanda branch is quite large. We came on a weekday, so it wasn&#39;t too noisy. The waiters were very friendly. We brought our two children, and they ran around playing, and the waiters helped keep an eye on them.

We ordered a sukiyaki and tom yum hot pot combo. The sukiyaki had a sweet and savory flavor, and the hot pot dishes were flavorful even without dipping sauce. The hot pot beef was also quite good. I&#39;m a little uncomfortable with the tom yum flavor, but my friend seemed to enjoy it. I&#39;ll try the fish maw chicken next time; it&#39;s said to be their signature broth.

We ordered the basic weekday set meal, which doesn&#39;t include the wagyu beef, but the beef shoulder was also good, with a firmer texture. The Angus brisket was a bit loose after cooking. The buffet also has a wide variety of dishes, and the fish roe and shrimp paste were amazing 👍🏻. All-you-can-eat durian is available for purchase separately, with both frozen and roasted durian. The roasted durian is smaller in size and not as sweet as the frozen version. Some are better quality, while others aren&#39;t quite as sweet. But at this price, I don&#39;t mind; I still enjoyed it incredibly well.
