Bouchon means "home-style bistro" in French. Bouchon Bistro Francais is a French restaurant in the Soho food district. I wanted to book it on Ctrip, but this restaurant does not provide same-day reservations. When I walked to the front of the restaurant, there were few diners. The second appetizer was Assiette de Foie Gras, foie gras in two ways, Terrine de Foie Gras and Pan fried foie gras with toast and jam. I won't mention the foie gras on the shoulder, which was very delicious. I'm not usually a fan of terrine de foie gras, but the one here was very good, with a dense and delicate taste and a hint of sweetness. I liked it. I also ordered an onion soup, which felt like there was a lot of food, but the soup was a little thin. For the main course, I ordered Bouillabaisse, seafood stew with tiger prawns, clams, sea bass and crab. This stew is really delicious and the ingredients are generous. For the second main course, I also ordered stew, which is braised black angus shoulder with red wine\ bacon\mash. The beef shoulder braised in red wine is served with bacon and mashed potatoes. The soup tastes really good, and the mashed potatoes are also delicious. The beef is a bit too much, and it is a bit monotonous at the end. Winter in Hong Kong has finally arrived. In a small bistro, sitting by the window, eating warm stew and drinking a full glass of champagne, I suddenly thought of the plots in Hemingway's book about getting drunk on the streets of Paris.
