Amber, located in the Mandarin Hotel, is a delicious Michelin two-star restaurant. This time I went there for dinner with my friends. The food was mainly French cuisine. The steak was the most appreciated among the dishes. Other dishes such as desserts were also good. In addition, their tableside service was also very considerate.

I had a wine lunch course. Overall, it was a decent two-star restaurant. I only liked one dish, the iberico pork, which was the main course. The meat was tender and medium rare, and the sauces were excellent, some were sour, some were sweet, and some were salty. The wine pairing was with some good entry-level series from wineries, which was OK for lunch. One of us ordered wagyu beef as the main course, and we also ordered sweet wine, so the price went up a bit, otherwise it would have cost about 1,000 yuan per person.

I have been eyeing the Michelin two-star restaurant AMBER for a long time, and I succeeded! I came here for its Weekend wine lunch. There are four glasses of wine in the whole lunch, and each wine pairing is very suitable for each course and dessert. Wine lovers should not miss it (btw, I am dizzy). The old Hong Kong Tire has two stars. Compared with Caprice, it is a stable new-style French restaurant, and has been ranked 24th in the world. Chef Richard Ekkebus learned from the French cuisine master Pierre Gagnaire. The menu includes sea urchin with caviar, charcoal-grilled Miyazaki wagyu, and octopus with green bean puree. In addition to the luxurious ingredients, there are many highlights, but few amazing points in terms of technology.

The restaurant is quite popular, and it took 2 weeks in advance to book a seat for lunch. Restaurant service: The restaurant manager is Italian, handsome, and the service is enthusiastic. The restaurant provides Chinese service. The menu changes with the season, and there is an unupdated Chinese menu. Food: The ingredients are very good, the presentation is exquisite, the taste is not amazing, the desserts are very delicious, and the tableware is a bit old. No wonder it is not rated 3 Michelin stars.

It is not easy to reserve a table in this restaurant. I tried to book it twice before I got one. People still say that I am lucky, so I have nothing to say. The set menu is a series of courses paired with different wines. It is really exquisite, but for me who doesn't like wine, it seems a bit out of place. The artistic presentation of the meals really increases appetite. The bread before the meal is a bit difficult to digest. The beef main course is very delicious with a good taste. The dessert is the finishing touch and it is so delicious that it makes you cry. Although it is expensive, don't miss it.
