The restaurant is on the third floor of Xinhai Holiday Hotel. It is a Hakka restaurant. It is a high-end restaurant. The food tastes good, the portion is OK, and the price is expensive. Three people ordered a pickled fish and Shiwo organic cauliflower. The pickled fish is OK. The fish is grass carp, but the pickled cabbage is a little less and the portion of cauliflower is a little less. The service is OK and the dishes are served quickly.

🚆 **Hezhou Travel Notes | Experience the Small Town Style** 🏙️

On August 28, 2023, I took the 9:50 train (from Zhongshan to Guangzhou South). I didn&#39;t expect that this train was changed from sleeper to sitting berth! (It&#39;s my first time to take this kind of train haha)👌🐾 At 10:46, I arrived at Hezhou Station👀. As soon as I arrived in Hezhou, I chose to take the bus🚌 to the hotel🏙️.

On the bus, I met an aunt who had just bought vegetables👵. She was standing. I saw that she was having a hard time standing, so I asked her if she wanted to sit in my seat. She said no, because it was only a few stops away. Later, she asked me: &quot;Little sister, are you here for school?&quot; (Looking at me dragging my suitcase) I replied: &quot;No, I&#39;m here for tourism and want to taste the food here!&quot; The aunt smiled, haha, she is so kind.

When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk lady saw that we were three girls and booked a double bed room. There happened to be a triple bed room available for upgrade, so she gave us a triple bed. The people here are so nice.

I didn&#39;t expect it to rain when I got here, but it didn&#39;t stop us from tasting all kinds of food haha. There are many snack stalls near the hotel, so we kept tasting food along the way. We tried wasp syrup☑️, Haomei beef intestine sour☑️, rice noodle + taro cake (with a little chili sauce, very good 😍)☑️, cream horn☑️, roast duck☑️, and He Zhangmen (braised food and cassava soup)☑️. In the evening, we went to Rongshutou (tried the taro chicken feet pot, which was very delicious 😊, and the hot and sour fried noodles and barbecue (so-so) ☑️.

❗❗❗ I must say that the taro chicken feet pot and hot and sour fried noodles at Rongshutou are really good 👋. We also visited Hezhou University 🚶🐾.

To sum up 😜, I think it&#39;s good to live in Hezhou, a city with low prices. I like this slow life, which makes people feel very comfortable. The people here are also very hospitable. Of course, the peppers here are relatively not very spicy. The aunties think that the extra spicy is just slightly spicy for us haha. The cream horn is really good 😍, it&#39;s worth a try. Sometimes, it&#39;s also a good thing to relax occasionally and try the food in other cities, not just for the sake of checking in. Go with the flow is the best way 👌✌️.

If I have the opportunity, I will go to Hezhou (📍Hezhou) again 👀👋.
