The price is good, the taste is good, and the portion is large. I don&#39;t recommend the spicy chicken, there are too many bones and skin; I don&#39;t recommend the fish-flavored pork shreds, the meat is very old; I don&#39;t recommend the three-fresh soup, it&#39;s as light as water. The others are all delicious. The serving speed is extremely slow, I have never encountered it before, it takes half an hour or an hour for a dish to be served!

This route is primarily for escaping the summer heat. Yunnan is generally cooler than Guizhou. While most tourists choose to visit either Guizhou or Yunnan, we&#39;ll be traveling across both provinces this time, avoiding a return trip to Guiyang.

Internet reports suggest that Guizhou is overcrowded. After carefully studying our itinerary and travel guide, we purchased tickets and made reservations for the Water Curtain Cave 10 days in advance (reservations are essential during peak season). We opted for no-entry tickets (even with no-entry tickets, you&#39;ll still have to wait for a long walk if you don&#39;t get up early).

To avoid the crowds, on the first day, after taking the high-speed rail from Wuhan to Guiyang North, our chartered car driver took us directly to Huangguoshu Waterfall in Anshun, without stopping in Guiyang. We dropped off our luggage at the hotel and entered the scenic area around 4 or 5 PM. We visited the Grand Waterfall area (Water Curtain Cave) and the Doupotang area, leaving around 7 PM. Huangguoshu Park tickets are valid for three days, so we split our visit into two days. This way, we weren&#39;t too tired, avoided crowds, and were able to take pictures of the deserted scenery.

We had to get up early the next day. Even though Huangguoshu Park opens at 6:30 AM during peak season, there were already long lines. While most people first stopped at the Great Waterfall, we headed to the Tianxing Bridge Silver Pendant Area and quickly boarded the scenic shuttle. Following online guides, we walked the lower half of the Tianxing Bridge in reverse (❗During peak summer vacation, crowds are extremely high, and the road will be closed off later). The best part is in the lower half; the upper half is long and the scenery is average. It&#39;s not recommended during peak season; it&#39;s a waste of time. Many sections of the Tianxing Bridge area are narrow, only wide enough for one person to pass through, and some are slippery. The observation deck is small, and it&#39;s the longest hike of the three scenic areas. It&#39;s important to hike when you have enough energy, otherwise you&#39;ll be stuck in traffic under the scorching sun, which can be extremely uncomfortable. Be careful with children who are less physically fit or don&#39;t like walking, as parents will end up suffering the consequences.

Unlike the Grand Falls, the Silver Chain Pendant Waterfall is composed of numerous smaller, stepped cascades. Seen from a distance or from above, these tiny white streams, densely packed in the shallows, twist and turn, resemble countless slender silver chains stretched flat on the water&#39;s surface. It&#39;s flood season, and the sight is truly breathtaking. I personally think it&#39;s even more beautiful than the Grand Falls. We leisurely exited around 10 a.m., just as we saw busloads of tour groups arriving [snickering].

❗Overall, the natural beauty of Huangguoshu Waterfall is breathtaking, a gift from nature, but management is woefully poor: 1. The entrance fee is expensive (160 yuan for the ticket, 50 yuan for the sightseeing bus, and 30 yuan for a one-way escalator, 50 yuan for a round-trip. We exited the Water Curtain Cave entirely downhill, so we only bought a one-way escalator). VIP tickets add an additional 288 yuan. 2. The emergency diversion system is poor, with frequent congestion, raising concerns about stampedes and conflicts among tourists. 3. The commercial street at the exit is ridiculously long.
