Baohua Noodle Shop, this time I only ordered abalone noodles, and asked for wide noodles. I felt that the radish and beef brisket I had last time was not worth it, with more radish and less beef brisket. This time I followed the old Guangzhou style last time and only ordered his homemade noodles. When ordering, they recommended radish, but I decisively refused. The noodles came very quickly and were served with free soup. The abalone sauce was put in a separate soup spoon. I poured some soup into the noodles and stirred it with the abalone sauce. It was indeed pure noodles, and the taste was just right for me who likes noodles.
Fresh shrimp wonton noodles, 35 yuan a bowl, I think it's expensive, a total of five wontons, the shrimp meat is very plump and chewy, the noodles are authentic bamboo noodles, chewy. The beef offal and radish are also very delicious, and the soup is very flavorful.
The radish at Baohua Noodle House is still the same as always, melting in your mouth but not in your hands, with no residue and just sweetness. The dumplings are filled with Cantonese pork, leeks and water chestnuts, which have a heavy texture. I like thin dumplings so I ordered them together. The wontons without prawns are so delicious, the meat is fresh and tasty.
The soup of Baohua Noodle Shop is very fresh, the noodles taste good, the shrimp wonton and beef brisket taste just average. The radish is soft and tasty. The soup is the winner, the rest is just fine. We walked through the crowded crowd and sat inside the "Baohua Noodle Shop" hungry, and ordered shrimp wonton noodles, beef tendon wonton noodles and radish. I knew that Guangzhou food is light, but I didn't expect it to be not only light, but also sweet...ah!
Baohua Noodles is a time-honored brand. I have been eating noodles here since I was a child. Decades later, I came back to experience it. The silver noodles are very chewy and have no alkaline taste. The sauce for the mixed noodles still tastes the same as before. The beef brisket in the pit pork noodles is very big, and the soup is shrimp soup, but it tastes a bit salty. The price has increased several times now!
The broth at Baohua Noodle Shop is fresh and the noodles are good. The shrimp wontons and beef brisket are just average. The radish is soft and flavorful, and delicious. The broth is a winner, but the rest is just okay. I feel like they've become too casual to avoid being an internet celebrity, so the taste is worse and the price is higher.
